Is it illogical to think beyond my own existence? Is it more logical to think only of those things that I can immediately see, what is in the media, and only of the things that my four senses dictate?

As a person of science, I do not have a belief in religious texts. I was raised in the church but that led me to reflect upon my beliefs and I became agnostic/atheist (doubtful about the presence of a God).

I detest war and i find religion can become the scapegoat for many evils.
I love all mankind equally as my brothers and sisters and believe in the beauty of life, the importance of one's family and friends and respect for each other. I simply find science too evident over theology.

Because of my beliefs, I have been heckled and ridiculed for not believing in a God even threatened with violence.

Can their be a world where those of faith can tolerate atheism or is that impossible? If so why?

Heya.. last week i was given an after school detention for 2 hours (3.30-5.30) an had to write lines. After a while my hand and fingers were sore from writing all the time.

detention is basically, sit down at a desk in a classroom and the teacher then gives out sheets of paper to write on. I had to write 'I must learn to follow the schools code of conduct at all times' They are soo boring and go on too late.

I used a biro pen for my lines. iv got another after school detention on thursday and i dunno if a different pen will help my hand and fingers??

Imagine you told a girl you really love how you feel and they go along with it and pretend they have feelings for you. They kiss you and flirt with you even after you tell them how you feel. The day you really get mad and are already sick of not getting any answers, you demand an answer. She says she has no feelings for you and that she knew you had feelings for her. You tell her you don't want to talk to her anymore and that you cannot befriend her. A couple months pass, she ends up in your class. You two talk often but just casual. A time comes when you go and stand in back of her and put your hands on her shoulders while she is sitting. She says "you're making me nervous" Why would she say this to me?

She is bisexual and I just happened to really fall for her. She had a bf at the time and still has the same bf now. I got to know her and really knew about her life and challenges she's gone through. I just really wanted to be there for her and show her that I really love her.

Why do Muslims react like savages to criticism and to questions about the hijaab and refuse to reason what they believe or what they know about Islam when they actually misrepresent Islam by this odd behaviour?

Why do these muslims wish to punish non-Muslims for their mockery of the prophet Muhammad when they are liable for the mockery in their mockery of Isa al Masih by wrongfully naming him Jesus and thereby offending Christians with their mockery of the God of the Christians when they say that Jesus was not crucified?

The Quran never mentions Jesus and therefore does not deny that Jesus was crucified but the Quran gives the assurance that Isa the Messiah son of Mariam was not crucified and when you examine the Bible, the Bible is telling you that Jesus was not the correct name of the Christ and that the Christ was not crucified but the Jesus was certainly crucified.

Do men think that they will be left alone on saying they believe and that they will not be tested?

Peace

That's how the Jehovah's Witnesses act towards people they have kicked out after they get babtised. They say it is loving because if you didn't care, you wouldn't try to emotionally blackmail them into returning. And all you will do is corrupt other JWs. What do you think?

i think the law is silly, but if i went to america and done something that was illegal their but legal here should i get let off with it due to my ignorance? i don't know of any laws that are different but if ignorance is a way to get out of a punishment what is the worst thing i could do and use that?
we are quick to condem what is happening to this teacher but if you make a mistake in judgement especially with all the press on how muslims react to the word mohamad and depictions, insults etc you wouldnt use that name.

Since everybody has their own personal relationship with God, can you prove that the murderer wasn't instructed by God to kill?

How can one prove that someone didn't receive God's instruction to kill? After all, God spoke to Abraham solely about the need to kill Issac.

Isn't everyone by default an humanitarian? Unless of course they are a sociopath. What person is not concerned with the welfare of their fellow man? People having concern for their fellow man is universal, it doesn't matter if they believe in God or don't think that there is a God.

To say that you are a humanitarian because you are concerned with the welfare of man, is almost the same as you saying that you are a thinker because you can think.
