There are types of ALL KINDS of people. For those of you who answered two kinds...shame on you!
There are butch and femme, young and old, mommies and single ladies, couples, doms, dog lovers, cat lovers, activists, artists, poets, corporate whores, nuns, shy, bold, long haired, shaved headed, musicians, canadians, nudists, the list goes on and on and on.
ellen and the L word dykes may be the only lesbian examples on tv right now, but do a little research, there are all kinds of lesbians!

I wouldn't say "types" per-say,
Some people think so, what with the mixture of Butch and such, which I never understood.
I do think that there are degrees of lesbianism. Maybe just to the point of sexual performance/action preference.

There are different personalities , yes , but they are all lesbian. They all share their love for women. I gues there are Bisexual girls , but thats another issue.
