I have a friend who is converting. She hasn't told me yet though. Can someone please give me the differences from Christianity?

Can I expect to not be judged?

Can you positively guarantee beyond a shadow of a doubt that there will be no war?

If I question someones morals or beliefs will I be considered an outsider? Will I have cause?

Since there will be no such thing as a Bible in such a world, man will have to go be the laws set by man. How would people know that a law isn't bias, has loop holes, or limits the rights of someone else? Would we have laws to correct past laws (one after another).

Will there be no suffering in the world?

If someone doesn't have the desire or capability to be a product member in such a world, what will become of them?

If I have dissent towards the atheist society that I will be living in, will my concerns be addressed fairly?

Would I have a reason for my dissent in an atheist society?

Hecker told detectives she hadn't known she was pregnant;
According to police, Hecker said she felt ill as she drove home from her boyfriend's house around 2 a.m. Later, as she sat on the toilet, police said, she gave birth to a baby boy.

Hecker told investigators she pulled the boy from the toilet and he stopped moving, according to police. Police said she told them she held the baby for a while before putting him back in the toilet.

She then sat back down on the toilet and delivered the placenta, police said.

Police said Hecker then took the baby back out of the toilet and placed him on some towels on the bathroom floor, then told her mother what had happened.

Police said Hecker's mother told her to put the baby in a bag and throw the body away in a trash can outside.

What are the seven (7) places that Jesus shed His Blood
for YOU?
Serious question but all are welcome to answer, as they
very well please.
Those of you who are serious Christians are respectfully
requested not to criticize the trolls. They need Jesus too.

Christians drink alcohol very much. So I started thinking that does the Bible prohibit drinking liquor or not? Why are Christians so drunk all the time?

JUST THINK ABOUT IT! There is no possible way to know. King James authorized the King James version, how do we know it is really the Bible? He tolerated Catholics, which have perveted the Bible. All religions have a God, and they focus on a God. How do we know which religions are right, and true? Think about this carefully before you answer.

Assuming heaven is an actual place you go to when you die, a real kingdom (I myself do not believe, so Atheists please go with the 'assuming' part, rather than argue it's not), what do you think you are likely to find there?

A prophetic statement to be sure: *wink*

"See how he cowers and sneaks, how vaguely all the day he fears, not being immortal nor divine, but the slave and prisoner of his own opinion of himself, a fame won by his own deeds. Public opinion is a weak tyrant compared with our own private opinion. What a man thinks of himself, that is which determines, or rather indicates his fate........The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation. What is called resignation is confirmed desperation. ....A stereotype by unconscious despair is concealed even under what are called the games and amusements of mankind. There is no play in them, for this comes after work. But it is a characteristic of wisdom not to do desperate things?"

Sounds like someone we may know of?

and child abusers and murders in nice warm prisons with 3 meals a day, cable TV and internet access? Not to mention work out rooms and all the free education and health benefits available to them.

Here's an idea:
Let's put criminals in less desirable surroundings and open the prisons to the homeless and people in need?

Agree?

Well, of course He wasn't. So what of all the other people who suffered the same horrible fate for no reason except that they lived under a bloodthirsty government? I mean, I guess it wouldn't be so bad if you knew you were saving all of mankind from eternal damnation, but to go through all of that for nothing and now be completely forgotten? That must suck.

Your thoughts?

I know what Freyja is like because she came to me the other night, but what about Thor and Odin? Isn't Thor the creator of all things? Then he's the top God of the pantheon?

What roll does Odin play? Tell me about their personalities if you can. Thanks.

2 Nephi 25:23 says "For we labor diligently to write, to persuade our children, and also our brethren, to believe in Christ, and to be reconciled to God; for we know that it is by grace that we are saved, after all we can do"

but, 1 Nephi 3:7 says, "For I know that the Lord giveth no commandments unto the children of men, save he shall prepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commandeth them"?

1 Nephi 3:7 says, "For I know that the Lord giveth no commandments unto the children of men, save he shall prepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commandeth them"

If God gives a way to obey EVERY command, how can you say you have done EVERYTHING YOU CAN if you have not obeyed a command?

I mean this with all respect and no argument is intended... It is something I have often wondered about.

How can you have hope of Eternal Life if you have ever sinned, when God has made a way for you to obey.

Pagans believe in evolution, created by the Earth (Mother Nature. I think this is a big one, you would have to agree we were created by Nature through evolution. So is Gaia the closest you would come to believing in any form of deity?)

Pagans don't believe in Deity in the form of a Big Angry Sky Pixie, but that we are God/dess ourselves. We don't "worship" any deity, we are not lesser beings. If anything we see deity as kin and equals.

We take responsibility for our own actions, no Sky Pixie or Boogey man made us do it!
No such thing as Hell, no judgement except from our own morals and empathy.

Its funny, thinking about it. Athiests and Polythiests having things in common.

......as he was led to be crucified?
How could such hard hearted men not understand that THIS was God come down to man.
"Even as He hung in torment and terrible suffering, they mocked, him and spat on Him. Most hated him vehemently."
"...falsely accused and condemned, beaten, scourged, mocked and humiliated."
"They mocked and reviled Jesus, spit in His face, then blindfolded Him and beat Him asking Him to prophesy who had hit Him (Mark 14:65; Luke 22:63-65)."

Do people STILL commit these same despicable acts today?

I see mocking questions like this all the time from people that seem to hate Him:
"If I hear voices am I a prophet too?"
"Why would God intelligently design a place that you would need to be saved from?"
"Jesus said you can beat women with a rod till they are unconsious ?"
"Did JESUS CHRIST have a GAY relationship with Apostle JOHN?"
"Jesus was a sinner?"

I suppose "they" don't know what they're doing.
