That putting an "s" at the end of a word is a good way to make the plural.

I believe that this is a stupid question as I've answered it at least 30 times in the last few months!
Really, if you're looking for what atheists believe in, then you've totally missed the definition.
Theist = believer in the supernatural
A-theist = opposite

Atheists believe in the non existence of gods. From a practical point of view an atheist is trying to explain all social and natural phenomena without any reference to the divine; so they simply don't accept the existence of god.

We believe in science mostly as far as where we come from and where we're going. We believe in the power of self and not depending on an unseen deity to help us or comfort us. We believe in love and compassion, we believe in morals just like anyone else. We're just honest about our beliefs.

What do you mean what do we believe? We don't have a little book telling us what we can and cannot do and what we can and cannot think. The only thing we really have in common is that we do not believe in the existence of a god.
