If god can cause a great flood, then how could he just stand by and watch the nazi regime commit genocide on the Jews? Millions of jews died horrible deaths. Why did he not stop that. Maybe he sent Hitler ( Joshua) and his army to kill the Jews(Jericho) for not accepting his son as the mesiah. Who knows?

you say a higher power does NOT exist & there is no way to proove otherwise...
well, I EXIST! this question if anything is proof of set being.

you claim that supernatual activities brought on by God, gods &/or goddesses are a figment of imagination, & are as outdated as many of the mythologies of the old world...
so make up your own ideology! make your own stories up & start pushing such fantasies on other people!

doing this also gives you an excuse to have a day off, like sunday to most christainity. and to create silly holidays such as christmas & easter where you can do stupid things for a "reason".

c'mon, what do you have to loose?

"Swear" words are taboo in our society today, but is there any real reason? A lot of people substitute "frick" and "fetch" in place of more offensive words such as the f-bomb, but does that really absolve you of any "sin"? The emotion you want to imply is still there, you are just using a different word to express it. What is it about saying one particular word that makes that emotion so wrong, when all other words make it ok? Keeping all of this in mind, should someone who constantly uses 4-letter words really be criticized, assuming that person has been raised to give those words a different meaning than the general public? If you were raised your whole life being taught to say dam instead of shoot, when you make a mistake...is the world allowed to ostracize you for it?

I do not think there ever was. I did a bit of research on it and found a theory that it could acctually have been an african elephant. A long time ago when circuses travelled about they may have stopped and let the elephants swim in the loch. They may have been underwater with there trunk above the water. This would explain some pictures. Also some pictures show humps going up and down the water. This could have been the elephants back and a part of the head.

Also i dont think there has been a recorded land sighting for many years. This may be because people know what an elephant is now.

Whta do you think to this theory?

Thank you, bye.

My story: The preacher was giving a sermon telling us that Kerry was Hitler and to vote Bush solely for the reason of abortion. I rose my hand. The only word allowed in the church were agreement - "Amen," Halleluyah," and "That's Right Brother." When the preacher said we need to take a stand, I stood and said I had a website to educate people. The usher escorted me out and told me to leave the premises. The church was the Holy Tabernacle of Life.

I guess the question could be does door to door evangelism or invitation still work? Please give your age and the type of community you live in.

Also, how many hours per week should a full time pastor put into the ministry? I am averaging about 57 and I feel like it should be more, my wife however, thinks it is quite enough :-)

Sometimes I get to feeling like I am, like when I told children at Samhain to stay away from the cupcakes with names 'cause those are for the ancestor feast. I have a hard time sometimes explaining how I celebrate because I'm afraid it'll sound weird to monotheists or atheists. How do you get around it, if you feel that way?

Oh, and monotheists and atheists--*do* you think it's weird, or are you sincerely interested?

Basically, you can steal someone else's present at a group gift exchange. I have never heard of such a thing in my life, and just wondered about it after watching a rerun.
