no one really knows the answer to this question. it is not stated in the bible where they came from. maybe god created wives for Cain and able just like he did for Adam. its a mystery... until we get to heaven!

I asked the same question a while back and got the same answers you are getting now. Here is my opinion based on all man comes from Eve. All the children of Adam an Eve were given a spouse the same way Adam was given Eve. If Cain's wife was taken from his body as a rib, then this wife of his still comes from Eve.

Cain, Abel and Seth weren't the only children Adam and Eve had. They had other sons and daughters, the Bible says so it just doesn't list them by name. So Cain and Seth married their sisters.

Cain, Abel and Seth all married what would ostensibly be their sisters. The Bible doesn't define taboo family relationships until the time of Moses.

Mostly this has to do with the degrading of the genetic pools due to human sin. Just as the ages of man decreased, so did the "quality" of their gene pool, so that closer family relations started having deformities and other genetic problems. We can also attribute this to the gene pools becoming more selective, which would also cause the problem.

Well there is a theory that before God kicked Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Eden, they had reproduced within the Garden...there would have been very many children(or adults) running around in the Garden. But I don't know whether or not it's actually true or not but I believe that it's very possible.

Adam & Eve had Cain and Seth and many other children -- male and female.

"Then the days of Adam after he became the father of Seth were eight hundred years, and he had other sons and DAUGHTERS." (Gen 5:4)

They found them through their sisters. Yup, incest. Sounds bad today, but when there is no one else, what else have you got. Genetically speaking, Adam and Eve did not have any genetic problems. So the inbreeding wasn't that negative. And as they all procreated in abundance, they spread the genes out a little more. Also, inbreeding doesn't usually manifest its negative effects until after the first generation. So with the clean gene pool as it was, the negative effects would take longer to manifest themselves today. This is why we have genetically passed diseases and ailments. Essentially, we are all of the same family, so the incest is still going on today...even worse as people are pig-headed about interracial relations.

OK if Cain and Seth married their sisters . then why did God mark Cain so that other people of the world would not harm
him. when he went out to the dessert.

You need big imagination don't you to swallow all that crap.
Who created the Neanderthals then? We all know they existed. Were Adam and Eve perhaps Neanderthals?

That would explain all those stupid people out there now then.
Perhaps God just poped babies out of thin air!
It says a lot about the birds and the bees then.

Great question.. I always thought they maybe the scientists and religion were both right...maybe we did have evolution but maybe because the Israelites are Gods blessed people that maybe he created them himself...I also think Adam was dark skinned and Eve was light because Adam came from sand and Eve from bone
