There are many Spanish words that can be rendered as "beautiful", but each one has a different meaning, so I'm not sure which one you want to use.
Lindo/a works if you are talking about a person who has a beautiful heart.
Bonito/a is more like a cute baby.
Hermosa works better for an older woman. I have also heard it in reference to a building.
Bello/a seems to refer more to a person's physical appearance.
Guapo/a is a way of saying that you find the person physically attractive.
It's like trying to explain the difference between beautiful, pretty, cute, and lovely in English. Very difficult.

Let me make it clear: when your talking to a male, you have to say "Guapo," and when your referring to a female, you say "Bonita," There are other words, too. For example, "precious," and also "Bella."

I could be very mistaken, but I believe the word for beautifull in Spanish is: el gwappo. Again, I could be mistaken.

Hermosa.linda,bonita.Try to avoid --bella--because it can have a bad meaning like--trickery and sort of deceptive.
