Well... I was wondering that if you wanted to learn Japanese somehow, how would you do it? In terms of "learn" I mean to learn to speak it... Its not exactly easy I've discovered... No language is that easy to learn of course but I'm 13 and trying to teach myself some. I know i wouldn't say "a lot" of words but I know... vowel sounds... sentence order... few particles... not too much though. Any reccomended website to study off of?
~Oh and I oppose online dictionaries because I feel that they aren't reliable lol

Ideas? Anything would help... Thanks~ :D

Bukhari:V4B55N544 "Allah's Apostle said, ‘The first group who will enter Paradise will be glittering like the moon and those who will follow will glitter like the most brilliant star. They will not urinate, relieve nature, spit, or have any nasal secretions. Their combs will be gold and their sweat will smell like musk. Their companions will be houris. All of them will look alike and will be sixty cubits (180 feet) tall.'"

i think human is a product of mixing/mating between an animal (human-like-body) with ghost/genie(jinn)/spirit creature. Long time ago.

because i kind of see ghostly feature on human compare to animal.

the question is, what do you think?.

maybe we are the distance relative of the ghost/genie that we are always afraid of. hoho. who knows.

For those of you here with an interest in politics, what are your thoughts on Ron Paul? I recently got wind of him and I kinda like his stance on most issues. Alot of democrats seem to be keen on him as well. However, I can't believe he will actually become a candidate. What are your thoughts on him?

I am a Muslim. One of the 5 pillars of Islam is Zakat, to give 2.5% of your annual wealth to those less fortunate. I am getting my very first job so I'm wondering how much should I give it to. Its going to be at a coffee shop, so not so much. And should I give 2.5 percent of every check I give to charity of the masjid. But also, isn't Zakat like Taxes and doesn't the government automatically take tax away from your check.

And if it does not have an official religion, does it have some official theological stance, like mono-theism?

Thanks.

and a huge insult to God?

I always found this story particularly repulsive.
Is our God a kind benevolent merciful, forgiving being, or a blood seekingn monster?

How would a benevolent God demand the sacrifice of any one, and especially his son, before forgiving a disobedience or any thing else?

Surely this is the thinking of barbaric, ancient, pre-Israelite tribes and others, practicing infanticide and human sacrifice. We can see the beginning of its disappearance in that horror story of Abraham attempting to sacrifice his child to God and changing his mind the last moment.

Christ brought about his own death in order to fulfil an ancient Jewis prophecy about the Messiah? God is not guilty.

The "fish" is nothing more than the zodiac sign for Pisces, which is the current astrological age that we are in. The astrological "month" of Pisces began roughly around the time that Jesus was alleged to have been born...what an interesting coincidence.

The cross and crown that you see at the top of this religion page? Also a pagan symbol for the zodiac. The "crown", or "corona" or "crown of thorns", represents the sun and its rays. The cross represents the 4 divisions of the year-the summer and winter solstices, and the spring and autumnal equinoxes that divide up the 12 astrological signs (representing the constellations they name).

These pagan symbols for the worship of the sun god (sun god, God's Son, wow, what another coincidence) existed long before Jesus was born.

So if Christianity is the one true religion, why did they adopt pagan signs as their religious symbols?

As a child I received instructions in both the Bible and the Talmud. I am a Jew but I am enthralled by the luminous figure of the Nazarene." Einstein
"No one can read the Gospels without feeling the actual presence of Jesus. His personality pulsates in every word. No myth is filled with such life." Einstein.
"I am not an atheist. I don't think I can call myself a pantheist. The problem involved is too vast for our limited minds. We are in the position of a little child entering a huge library with books in many languages. The child knows someone must have written those books. It does not know how. It does not understand the languages in which they were written. The child dimly suspects a mysterious order in the arrangement of the books but doesn't know what it is. That, seems to me is the altitude of even the most intelligent human towards God. We see the universe marvelously arranged and obeying certain laws but only dimly understand those laws." Einstein
