My lack of belief in god(s) is correct for me. It might not be correct for someone else.

The only way I can explain why Christianity is the only way is this:all other religions are incomprehendable. Who would want to have a god who orders you to be submissive and if need be kill yourself and others for "your own good and salvation", or who wants to be in a faith of more than 100 gods, and you can hardly remember them all? And how can you flat out deny something bigger than yourself? You were not created on . There is a plan for everything and everyone. With the one and only God, imagine personal contact and someone always right by your side. Talk to Him whenever wherever about anything; He knows what you're about to say before you say it. And knowing you're talkin to the maker of the universe. There is much more to faith than just that, but that would be in another answer.

We are all born with, "lack of belief", and only become attached to belief systems as we grow up and become indoctrinated into the cultural and religious beliefs of our families and other "educators". Belief in this respect is unthinking, self-perpetuating, and easy to debunk. Some people manage to shake off their youthful indoctrination and make their own choices. Their views are likely to be somewhat more objective and reasonable (though not always) yet not necessarily anymore "correct" than their inherited beliefs were. All that can be said with certainty is that lack of belief is probably more honest - none of us can be sure our views are entirely "correct" but evidence or lack of it can be the only real guide. Belief is usually not falsifiable and so it's of no value in determining what is true. Absence of belief does not require proof and cannot actually be wrong. So, in a sense, the question makes little sense - only beliefs can be incorrect - lack of belief is neither correct nor incorrect.

out of all the religions I've studied, the only thing that has never changed is Gods word (the Bible, I use NKJV) all other religions I've looked into have changed things to suit them. Example-Mormons used to believe drinking Caffein was a sin, now they own pepsi so it's ok to drink it, plus Joseph Smith believed in many wives, that's bologna, and he was on the run from the law, for crimes he commited, who in their right mind would follow someone like that. Jahova Witness, said there would only be 144,000 JW's and when more then that became JW's they now say only the top 144,000 will go to Heaven and the rest will stay here as a Heaven on earth, plus why would you not be allowed to celebrate the birth of your own child, they're allowed to celebrate they're wedding anniversary but nothing else, why one thing and nothing else. Also Catholics worship Mary and the Bible says to have no other gods before Me. We're to worship no one but God and the list goes on....

Faith is the intentionall suspension of disbelief. In otherwords, you have to make yourself believe it. Also, faith by definition is unexamined, so its a rather hollow practice.
People like faith because someone else has done all their thinking for them, they dont have to lift a finger.
(Thanks Pat !)

My religion is correct for me. All religions are correct for their adherents. I am Wiccan because I had an experience that interpreted as direct contact with the Goddess -- but I would never presume to say that it constitutes proof or reason to be Wiccan for anyone but myself.

My faith is right for me.That's all I need. I don't have to convince others that I'm right and they are wrong, nor do I try. If people wish to know my faith, I'll share it, but it's not my place to try to convince anyone else.

the fact that "feelings" dont matter to a hill of beans concerning matters of faith. Truth is truth, and it is in the catholic religion, all of it, not part, or half truths the fullness of the truth of the revelation of Jesus Christ. we make an assent of faith with our intellilect and our will, not our feelings.

I am an atheist. It is correct for me. I require vaild evidence before I believe in incredible things, such as deities.

I understand that other people may need to believe in some gods. I have no problem with that as long as they leave me alone, and not threaten me with their hell.

atheist, i'm an atheist because I don't need some 2,000 year old book to tell me how to live my life. i don't have to listen to people "preaching" to me telling me my life is wrong and that i'm going to hell; i hate close-minded, ignorant people. I'm also not needy, I don't feel like i'm inferior, i don't have a superiority complex, i fin most religious people have that.

I'm very open, i support all sexualities and when I left religion I feel 100% better about myself.
