im not a believer or anything. i used to be. and i forgot if it specifically said in the bible, that you should wait for sex until marriage. all i remember is my bible study teachers and pastors just saying it to us. but does it exactly say in the bible to wait?

i was reading tomorrow's gospel, luke 18 : 1-8, and i don't understand it. can you help? thanks, here it is:

1Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. 2He said: "In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared about men. 3And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, 'Grant me justice against my adversary.'
4"For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, 'Even though I don't fear God or care about men, 5yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won't eventually wear me out with her coming!' "

6And the Lord said, "Listen to what the unjust judge says. 7And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? 8I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?"

A substantial proportion of the human genome is relic DNA from retroviruses - genetic code which became fixed in our germline DNA from infections millions of years ago. By comparing our genome with that of other species, we can see that some of these insertions are relatively recent (within the last 5 million years) and so are only found in humans. Others which occurred longer ago are found in the same place in both human and chimpanzee DNA, demonstrating that the incorporation happened in a common ancestor before the evolutionary divergence of chimps and humans. Others occurred tens of millions of years earlier still, and are present in old world monkeys and apes (including humans), but not in new world monkeys, demonstrating that the virus found its way into the genes after old and new world monkeys diverged but before apes evolved.

How do creationist folks account for this kind of evidence without conceding that all organisms including humans are related by common descent?

When I WAS a catholic I was told if you kill or murder someone you will be cut off from God eternally. Is this true? I can cite a lot of scripture saying it is not. For instance Moses killed a guard before he led the people out of Egypt. God ordered Joseph to kill all the people staying in Israel. Are you truly cut off? Please back up with evidence. By the way I am set out to prove what the catholic doctrine is teaching is false teaching. Not because I hate catholics but because just maybe someone might be saved in hearing it. I ask you another two questions. If you die tonight would you go to heaven, if so.....why? Please do not answer that it is up to God because it isn't if you truly read the bible you would know the right answer. In love with Christ! I do not have a religion but a relationship. All my brothers and sisters shout with me!! AMEN!!!

I believe that God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, but do you think he used Comets , Asteriods, or an Earthquake? Etc. (There wasn't and Volcanos around in that area, which is thought to be located in Jordan.) How do you think it happen? I check my contacts, FREQUENTLY, to see if I have someone who might be a troll or something tagging along. For the last three days, I have noticed that I get new contacts daily who are Christians. Now, I like some Christians, truly, and have many in my contact list. We have "Anzac Day" here in Australia and every year I take my family in to the parade.... many family members have made grave sacrifices over the years to protect our way of life. You may not agree with War but surely you must appreciate the grave sacrifice that soldiers make!

Every year my daughter marches in the parade playing Saxaphone in her band.. and we stand on the side of the road and say "thankyou" audibly ... a great big smile and frantic waves as the returned soldiers parade past... for hours even though my arms ache and my cheeks hurt.

It is really meaningful to see their eyes light up as they meet mine and it fills my heart with joy to see them and share something with them.

Starts talking to you on a really personal level? Should I follow suit, or should I keep behaving like his employee? I once saw a documentary about George Washington, George would pray before every battle. Once during battle, a Indian Chief and his warriors hid in the woods just off the battle field, the chief said to his men to shoot at the one on the white horse. The Chief and his men were excellent marksmen, this was documented that the chief said to his men to stop shooting that he is protected by God, about 18 of them that fired about 15 to 20 shots each at George all missed. It was also documented when George got to camp that night, he took off his jacket and bullets fragments fell out, and fragments fell from his hair as well.
