not washing your hands after using a public bathroom?

I'm guilty... let me be clear that I'm a clean person, but there has been a couple occasions where I wanted to get out of there So bad and the sink was gross that I didn't wash. I know, gross!

Actually sometimes there are reasons for why I do not. If the sink is unclean I will not wash because the risk of catching something from the sink outweighs the benefits of washing. In these situations I use a liquid hand sanitizer, which although is not as effective as hand washing, is the better path for these scenarios.

I always wash my hands after using the public bathroom because come on!! It's a public bathroom, who knows what gross things you've touched, and how many people before you haven't washed theirs.

It's been proven that touching public washroom taps will cause you more germs than you can wash off. The soap wont matter, you turn off th etap and you touch the door handle.
You aren't cleaning much off in reality.
It's better to take one of those hand washing liquads around with you instead. So If you see people not touching the taps, it's probably not always a result of not be cleanly-but a result of buying the portable, keep in your purse soap liquads.
I even flush the toilets with my foot, they are very germy.

i wash my hands maybe 23 out of every 25 times i use a public restroom

I wash my hands after using ANY restroom, including the one at home I know is clean because I scrub it. Not to do so after using ANY restroom, even the cleanest , INVITES DISEASE. And does anyone really wonder why we are such a sick society when the answer is SOOOOO EASY.

That is so gross! I have seen women actually come out of the stall and head straight to the door! YACK!
I don't touch the bathroom doorhandles without a paper towel because of this.

washing my hands after using a public bathroom seems POINTLESS to me...
using 70% ALCOHOL after touching the doorknob to get out of there seems more like it!

Not me. Even my kids wash after using the bathroom. We don't touch door handles or water fountain handles either.
