Why would someone stick hundreds of plastic forks and spoons in the ground? Is this a prank?

I saw this down the road and it's been bothering me because I can't figure out what it's supposed to mean!

Sounds like a prank...it's almost Halloween, so pranks are going to start happening :)

You've never "Forked" or "Spooned" someone's lawn? Oh it's fun! Do it with fun and joy ... like toiletpapering a friend's house on their birthday!

it's a prank called 'forking', usually it's just forks. it's pretty common

thanks for the idea, too funny, in our area there is a company who will set up flamingoes, numbers, storks, giant b-day cakes. all in the cover of darkness, for to surprise that person the next day... but i think plastic utinsels is much funnier.....
