I don't think he was ever mentioned again after the visitation at the Temple (from one of the gospels) ... hehe don't remember which one.

Joseph was Jesus step father, and it isn't written what happened to him. Jesus spent most of His early years with His uncle who owned tin mines.

He died of old age..
How I know this??.. He was widow with children.. which means he was much older than Jesus.. when he died he was old.. Jesus did not resurruct him.. like he did with Lazarus.. because Joseph.. had lived his full life..

Considering that there are two versions of the Cherry Tree Carol, one in which Joseph was an old man and the other in which he was a young man, our ignorance of Joseph's life is almost total.
