Keep it on an employee/boss level. Of course if he tells you something in confidence you should keep it to yourself and not gossip.

Here is the real answer.
You must suspect something is not right or you would not have asked your question.
If your boss begins to talk to you on a very personal level--change the subject or suddenly remember you have something else you have to do, AND WALK AWAY.
Don't be flattered by this extra attention. If your boss begins to confide in you and you are uncomfortable about it--be strong and say that you don't think you can help. Believe me, there are so many ways to get an employee to think that they are important, all the while the boss has other motives.
Always be respectful--that is the key--but you are not required to be taken advantage of.
I wish you the best!

Depends is he asking fro your opinions on work related things or more of a flirt? If he is confiding in you it may mean he sees you as an accent which can lead to advances and I personally would use it to my advantage. As for being a flirt I would say something to him or continue to keep it professional because he could be hinting towards something more and you really don't wanna get involved in office romance with the boss. I've see it ruin peoples jobs and worse.

Ask your boss if she needs to respond to the e-mail. If she would not, then you will ought to write a diplomatic email, and replica your boss. i could say to the director 'Please settle for my apologies. This undertaking grew to become into inadvertently left off our calendar'. If it relatively is something you will do, then supply a date while it's going to be performed. If it relatively is something it relatively is now closed, then it relatively is advisable to contemplate announcing 'we've taken steps to ascertain this would possibly not in any respect ensue back. be constructive to repeat your boss on the e-mail. additionally, record each and every thing. in case you need to write the e-mail, be constructive to convey it up on your boss at assessment time. each and every now and then an worker has to take the flack for the boss. each and every now and then you're starting to be a good boss who will take the flack relatively. good success!

I don't see anything wrong here he see you as someone him can open up to, just long as it's not something that going to make you feel very uncomfortable talking about. Like his wife, sex thing of the nature.
Stay cool sometime we all need someone to chat with, he see you as the person, just be a friend (yes even with you boss) but remember there are rules to live by, keep it clean and stay away from sex and his wife.
good luck

You should still be an employee but if all he is doing is talking about jokes or home life or something like that it is okay as long as you feel comfortable but you should still kind of act like an employee and respect him just like everyone else.

it might be that he likes you and wanting to become more friendly. you did not mention what position you are in, how long have you worked for him? it could be that he is thinking of giving you more responsibility or that he is personally interested in you.........if it were me, i would be careful in this matter and listen to him in a kindly and respectful way. keep his confidence in what he tells you and don't repeat it... if he is thinking of promoting you, this will be on your favor. if he is interested personally, be very careful, it is not good idea to date your boss. it can only go bad on your side, and you could loose your job..........if he starts talking that is not acceptable to you, let him know kindly that you wish to keep things on a professional manner....

Don't be pulled in. He's out of line!!! Our courts are filled with people like him who are being sued! If he gets personal, look him in the eye and say, "I'm not interested in talking like this." and walk away. This is sexual harassment! Don't encourage it and don't listen to it.

always be professional at work. This man signs your paycheck, so getting personal is just asking for trouble. NEVER mess where you eat.
