If so, how can one reconcile scientific proof with the bible?
If not, should Christian-Evolutionists consider dropping out and become agnostic?

i often find that i have lost count of how many rakat i have done while making salat (dhuhr, 'asr, and 'isha)... i don't know if i've done all four or only three, so i kinda make an "extra" one just in case. has anyone else had this problem? is this ok? i try to focus, but sometimes i find that i've lost count...

similairly, i lose count of how many times i've rinsed while making wudu, so i wash an "extra" time. is this ok?

ps: i would like to add, respectfully of course, that if you do not know what i'm talking about, then you do not need to answer, nor will you be able to help me.

I read this book, "The Mists Of Avalon" and I had previously admired Arthur. But, if that book is true, then he was the one who put an end to paganism in the western world. So, the question is, Did Arthur really betray the Druids, or was that just a fiction?

The event organizers always state that it's open to the public for witches, pagans or pagan friendly people (as the case may be) ...there is even a 'Samhain Bash and Jam' just down the road from me....and the invitation says it's for everyone-even people who just want to see what this is all about. Okay here is the important question-WHAT should I wear?

There are a couple of Friends at my Hall who told a mutual friend that meetings are "optional".
The couple is married (to each other lol) and both were raised in the Truth. But they're only in their mid to late 20's.

Can any of you here think of a particular WT or publication that will help show the import of meeting attendance?
I have my PC and WT library tonight so I'll be doing some research myself on this matter... but the more heads the better.

Some people do not say a word of thanks after receiving a gift.
I am not looking for a thank you. Just notices it. I was raised to say thank you.

What do you think, they don't say thank you?

Just for five minutes, I want you to choose believe that the leprechans and fairies in my bedroom closet like to whittle little figurines of Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Mohummad in a group hug.

So, if believing is a choice, were you able to believe this?

I really want to know. Are you seriously trying to tell me that some all-powerful, infinitely merciful God would take affront to being mocked and made fun of?

Isn't Jesus supposed to be the best friend we ever have? Well, every really good friend I ever had was somebody I busted balls with. If Jesus was really a good friend of mine, you know what I would say to him: "Hey, Jesus, buddy, you look like a ******* hippie. Cut your your hair, dude. And change out of the dress, you ******* queen!" Of course, if I was really close, tight friends with a guy who was as cool as some people say Jesus was, I wouldn't really care if he was a dress wearing hippie. But I'd make fun of him for it, like he'd make fun of me for being an under-achieving stoner or something like that.

So why do some of you fundies always say "God cannot be mocked!"? I don't think he cares. No, I think he actually laughs along. And then we all have a good laugh at you people who get indignant. We and God laugh at you!

I thought it was about the intent and not the flashyness ( sp?) if a ritual/ ceremony? I don't have alot of $ to spend on it and have been told that I need to buy candles from a certain shop because they were made on certain days. I find that silly.I am not into alot of flashy stuff and utilizing what I have here at home and supplementing the others from ( gasp!!) Wal-mart, dollar stores and ( gasp!!) yard sales. any comments on this??? A certain writer, who shall remain, (Scott. c.) nameless, says to use what ever u find. help.

I know it's not that relevant coz am a believer, but I can't help wondering why Jesus is linked with David's lineage. Joseph is from the line of King David, and is not the fether of Jesus. For Mary, mother of Jesus, I dont know if she is from that line. What puzzles me is, how is Jesus related to this lineage and yet Joseph is not His father??

My 8th grader is having a sleepover next week - with a scary Halloween theme. She'd like to have a Ouiji Board there. I remember playing with one as a kid - and scaring each other to death. It just seemed like fun to me. Do you think any of the parents will be upset? Is this a no no? If your daughter was a guest at the party - would you be upset about a Ouiji Board activity?

Which is the right religion?,Some body in his ignorance answered: none, My question is ,Why this answer? To top it of he got 38 % of the votes. I get so tired of people who start life start spouting all that nonsense. I have known that people who are older embrace religion,After having struggled for years to "find" it..
Some fanatic agnostics have turned to Christianity. They saw that life had been empty before. I can suggest everybody who is searching take the Alpha Course and you might get the answer. But be careful because Christianity is for the brave.
