If you believe they are oppressed, why do you think it is so? What is holding them back? And why?

They do not succed in the classrooms as well as the others because the culture does not stress academics as much as say white people with money and Asian people. Now I'm talking African Amercian not Africans because they are different, the Africans that come to America are mostly all business. I did'nt make this stuff either, I was watching a show and they asked all these black kids who Shaquilla O'neal was and they all knew Shaq but then they asked them who all these famous black authors and inventors but they did'nt know any of them.

oppressed how? it was just fifty years ago when blacks finally integrated into schools. my mom remembers. there were slaves in the 60's believe it or not. oppressed how? by the world. the chains have not fully come off. be more specific. i believe alot of black people are doing fantastically well. be more specific.

Way to general. If you are speaking of Blacks in the United States, we number between 30-40 million. Not to mention all the Black folks in Latin America. So, your question is very general and seems to be looking for stereotypical answers.

Blacks are not oppressed. But one could argue that blacks oppress other blacks. Black on black crime, put down those who achieve as being too white.

The only oppression they experience is self oppression. No one is holding them back except themselves.

I beieve black are oppress from slavery some say it over but the spritual pain from it does not go away quickly. I can believe that 30% is our own people.

They aren't. There are many successful black people. Nothing is holding them back.
