HAH, got you little perverts, the only way to get anybody to see your question is to have a spicy title, but yeah, I need to know a good brief simplified definition of communism, I know a little but I want to know what it actually is.

And wouldn't that cause us to be more tolerant of others and their respective religious beliefs instead of judging everyone?

I am not sure what is appropriate, I am seperated from my kids dad, who is a jealous guy, and still kinda of bitter about the seperation. we currently live in different cities.
I plan to take my kids to visit him, and the entire family. But I am planning on taking my new boyfriend with me for the drive, it is an 8 hour drive.
So when I get there, would it be rude to leave my boyfriend at the hotel, when I take the kids to their dad's house ? I was planning on dropping the kids off, but I still was going to sit down, and speak with everyone for a few minutes. I dont want things to get ugly, but I dont want to be rude either, what do you suggest ?? Guys I would love to hear from you...

Someone just made god up so why do we need to have a lack of evidence to say it doesn't exist.

The FSM doesn't exist.

There are mountains of evidence to say it does but it doesn't.

God has even less evidence than the FSM.

"Question with boldness even the existence of god; because if there be one, he must approve of the homage of reason more than that of blindfolded fear."
~Thomas Jefferson

Jefferson was a lot smarter than i was and phrased it better than i could. but, if you believe in god, than you believe that god gave us logic and reason, right? so wouldn't he want us to use those tools? and if those tools tell us he doesn't exist...

I was an athiest for years, I don't recall having one Christian tell me I was going to hell, just those idiot televangelists on the TV.
For goodness sake! I lived IN Colorado Springs when Focus on the Family became big, and still never had anyone tell me that, of course, I didn't care enough to ask them what they thought either.
So I guess the question is this,
Are Christians just coming up and telling people, "You're going to burn." or is it because you asked them?

When you consider that we spend our lives growing up, to earn money so that we can buy luxuries that entertain us till we die. With the exclusion of love, do you think there is anything actually WORTH living for?

Interested in serious answers as I believe people place far to much faith in superficial belongings, myself included.

I mean, what would we do if the worlds technology collapsed tomorrow? We would be screwed as we have become reliant on it..

Thoughts please :)

For those Protestants:

Tradition is NOT more important than Scripture, it is COMPLEMENTARY to Scripture. The Bible didn't arrive by fax from God, and Jesus passed his teachings orally to His Apostles, who in turn passed it verbally on to their own students and disciples in Christ, LONG before any of it was written down. Paul's epistles were written 30-50 years after Jesus died, and the Gospels 50-100 years after He died.

Where was Scripture in that time? Oops, there wasn't any in the New Testament! Did Christianity disappear in between when Jesus died and the New Testament was written? Most Protestants think so, but if you are able to open your eyes and do a bit of research, you will see that TRADITION CAME DIRECTLY FROM JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF, AND IS THE FIRST BASIS OF CHRISTIANITY AFTER HIS DEATH.

Guess what? The Catholics and Orthodox had it right all along.

Research, logic and questioning the accepted status quo isn't a sin, but ignorance, is!

If there is no benevolent God, what reason do you have to believe your senses are not inaccurate? Your logic is not flawed? Your science is not deceptive?
