Like some of my catholic friends are like im catholic and i told them i was christian and then i was like well catholic is still christian and they were like no it isnt.What?Last time i checked catholic was a sect of christianity like protestant and orthodox..im pretty sure i was right even my professer said i was.

so why do some catholics like to deny it alot?

i mean im apart of a certain sect of christianity but i still say im christian

While you don't believe in God, you feel justified on bashing God or attacking those who believe in something that you KNOW doesn't exist, fighting against or even discussing about a non-existent being are the symptoms of mental illness!
Is atheism a mental disorder? Atheists seem pretty wacko to me!
If you atheists don't believe in God, then why do you talk about Him so much?
Either you've got a mental illness or you really DO believe in God! Which one is it?

Alot of times, in the Religion and Spirituality section, when I ask a question, I'll add in my details that I would appreciate it if people would be respectful of the ideas and beliefs of others. Why would anyone find this to be offensive?
Any ideas about this?
I have also added, at the bottom of some of my questions, that I will not consider "bashers" or trolls for "Best Answer".
Do you think this is impolite?

It seems to me from watching science programs that scientists are always trying find what's plausible about the Bible.
If you ever watch the Discovery Channel, Science Channel or the National Geographic, you will see many scientists trying to show that many of the "miraculous" things in the Bible can actually be explained through science.
And other things that seem to implausible are often considered exaggerations by scientists, not flatout lies.
Why then do so many Christians believe many scientists only try to discredit or undermine Biblical stories?

my girlfriend just used every curse word you could think of becuz i did one thing wrong..my friend said pimp slap her and say "***** shut up..who you think you talking to hoe??."....but i mean come on..thats hilarious but not something id say(id still pimp slap her though)..no i dont feel like talking i just want her to know who shes talking to next time..maybe make her feel low for a minute or two..let her see whos laughing..

Like wishing and wishing for money without a specific source for the money, can cause one of your Loved Ones to die and leave you some money?
That blowing out a candle flame offends the Fire elementals?
I did an Earth banishing not long ago just to see if I remembered how to do it. A minute later, I heard a bang like a .22 going off behind me. My co-workers heard it too. I did it toward the West, which is ruled by Water, and had no real need to do it. I guess I pissed off the Water elementals?

It sounds offensive and I'm sure it trivializes the question. I notice that it is only atheists that do it. I just think it's another minor annoyance on YA to contend with.
