Okay, earlier today I thought you were serious.
Now I realize you're a budding Windom Earle.

Aim high, bud!

To answere your question I do not believe god is a he. So for me to believe in your religeon or god is an imposiblity. Also the fact that the biblical god sounds more like a humans meaderings every page also makes me a non-believer. In reading the bible the thought occured to me that it looked like god didnt know any more than the man that wrote about god knew.. Really strange.Christians keep telling me that man ruined gods creation. That is stranger yet. The King James version I read tells me god created everything to revolve around the earth. How could a god screw up that badly. So mehuman had to change that to the earth revolveing around the sun. If thats ruining the creation it needed a little ruining. Now your bible also tells me this god created the human for only one reason. Eat, sleep and propogate. If thats not all the fun things to do please tell me more. But of course this god I read about couldn't leave it at that. God had to pull in the big guns, a highly intelegent son of his [who is a god in it's own right] come to earth and convince the mudball of a woman with limited intelegence some stupid fruit was good to eat. So then when the woman said to Adam [another mudball] if you dont eat this fruit you sleep with the monkeys. So Adam took a bite. Found out he didn't die so took another. Then this god that didn't know where the kids were [2 kids] Not like it had a dozen. walking threw the garden talking to itself wondering where the kids were found them makeing some Depends as the outhouse wasn't built yet. God asked them what they were doing so Adam took an about face and said "oops" and looked up and Lucifer was mouthing the words [blame the broad] so Adam just naturaly told god the woman held him down and forced him to eat. Anyway ,God bought that story and told the woman she would be subject to the man for all eturnity. Ooops, god forgot they were going to die.O well. What a kidder that god is..Blame the woman and make her suffer. Methinks only a human man could come up with something like that for the woman to be subject to him. Way to go GOD.

God is imaginary. Therefore, I don't think there is any sense to the rest of the question. I can easily accept God for who He is: a fictional character, just as Harry Potter is a fictional character. I do, however, expect Harry Potter to be entertaining!

Because he isn't. An omnibenevolent god does not create or tolerate tsunamis that kill a quarter of a million people.

Uh...I don't believe that. I just believe that if an omnibenevolent God exists, he actually has to be omnibenevolent. That means no eternal torment of good people like Gandhi allowed.

Your question contradicts itself. We don't think God has an aim cos we don't think there is a God at all. Same reason we cannot 'accept him for who he is'.

By the way, religious folk have been fighting for most of recorded human history about 'who God really is', so what makes you so sure of the answer?

Well we don't think there is a god to have any motives.

But if a god was really able to create the entire Universe and everything in it, he would have to be some kind of psychopathic jerk to care in the slightest what we do in our bedroom, but let thousands of kids starve to death.

Like Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, Lex Luther and The Penguin ... I don't judge people I've never met.

You're going to have to go far and wide to explain that statement. That made as little sense as anything I've read here. I will say that I'm open to accepting any claim if it has an adequate amount of evidence. I'm more than willing to accept god but only god could prove god. I don't reject god, I reject your claims of god.

Atheists don't think your god has any 'primary aim.'

We only react to the pious, and their perceptions and worship.

If you're asking why we ask, 'why does God allow suffering?' and other such quintessential questions, the answer is simple. You say God loves you/us/everyone. You don't allow someone you truly love to come to suffer if you can prevent it.
