Sure thing. No need to be ashamed or worried. If they say no, then no harm done. If they say yes, all the more people there at a happy time.

why woudlnt you?
wouldnt you invite them to your wedding? THis is far more important then any celebration. When i got baptized i invited my whole family. half came but the half that did were so glad they did. Its the first step to the best way of life. you are showing the public your decleration to serve Jehovah the rest of your life. Also please be careful on here on what you ask because there are so many opposers, and so many of us that think they know us! But im sooo glad that you are getting baptised.

Yes, a baptismal candidate typically does invite some family and close friends. Ahead of time, the candidate will help his guests to understand and respect the need for dignity by the audience.

When you post questions like that here, you are just inviting stupid answers from people who have walnuts for brains. Ask you question in your home congregation, not in an open forum.

Yes, it would be a great witness you will be giving. Dedicating yourself to Jehovah. Baptism is not to be taken lightly. We were buried therefore with him (Jesus) through our baptism (immersion) into his death. When one is immersed in water, one is temporarily “buried” out of sight and then lifted out.
I would think you would like to share this with your loved ones and friends.

Why, as a JW, will you get baptized? What for? There is no reason for a non Christian to do it. It represents rebirth in Christ. You do not believe He rose from the dead.

I would suggest you think very hard about joining JW.

Theirs is a doctrine that is contrary to the Word of God. They don't believe a man must be born again to enter the kingdom of God.

They attempt to make being born again and being saved two seperate things. When they are not.

Let God lead you to where he wants you to worship. It won't be the JW. Seek God, not men.
