Show me a fundie atheist and I will show you a person that has been persecuted by Christians. Historically, and even today, Christians are the persecutors.

"Fundie atheists" is essentially an oxymoron. And we have lots of better things to do than to EDUCATE Christians. But in the spirit of humanity and good will, we keep trying.

If I'm merely a 'moderate' atheist, can I still persecute Christians and pull the heads off of barbie dolls?

Did you mean people who are fundamentaly athiest or athiests who are against fundie Christians? There isn't an athiest fundamentalist sect or is there and I am missing all the good parties?

Either way, most athiests have nothing against Christians or Jews or Muslims or anyone who isn't against them to begin with. We don't have the horror of religious faith to guide our hate.

Christians, in order to believe themselves Christians, seem to need to feel persecuted.

"Fundie" appears to be short of "fundamentalist." The Fundamentalists were a group of people who were prompted to join together after reading "The Fundamentals," a pamphlet published in opposition to Darwin's "Origin of Species." The people who published this pamphlet were Christians. Consequently the notion of "fundamentalist atheists" is nonsense.

In what way are Christians persecuted? Churches don't property or income taxes and your tithe is tax deductible. It seems that Christianity is encouraged.

Not that I'm atheist, but how are you being any different from those "fundie atheists"?

If asking questions is persecution, you have just persecuted us atheists. So, consider it paybacks.
