Fundies are usually well versed on doctrine and wear a constant armor of scriptural quotes and epithets.

I would describe you as more fanatical. It's more about the feeling (or hysteria) of the moment that counts. Not so much rationality.

Sometimes you can talk sense to a fundie though they may disagree. A fanatical will walk over the ten commandments to drag you to heaven or send you to hell.

If you are not learning and seeking God's will, you are probably a Fundy.

If you bear false witness against others about their faith and practice, you are probably a Fundy.

If you have an inability to understand simple theological concepts, you are probably a Fundy.

If you proof text Scriptures out of context to prove your prejudices, you are probably a Fundy.

If you have contempt for those seeking God who do not believe exactly as you, you are probably a Fundy.

If you have a hate for Christ's Church, you are probably a fundy.

I could go on and on.....

In Christ

Do you interpret the bible as the literal and infallible word of God, then you would be considered a fundamentalist by most people.

My personal watermarks include: if you accept Genesis and the flood myth as literal truth your a fundamentalist; if you believe Johna lived in a fish, you're a fundamentalist; things of that nature.

I don't know. Do you constantly assert there is only one true way (yours)? If so, then you are a fundie.

TI Barbie is indeed a fundie: rude, judgemental and assertive.

Honestly, ask yourself: do you preach exclusivity, feel you can condemn other's to hell or relegate them to heaven, or try to push your beliefs on other people? Do you believe that humans are so intrinsically evil that without God, we would all be murdering and raping at will?

If you've answered yes to any of those questions, you might be a fundamentalist. (Apologies to Jeff Foxworthy.)

If you preach Jesus's gospel of love and acceptance and non-judgmentalism, then you are probably not a fundamentalist.
