Ok I might get into trouble over asking these questions, but I am very curious as to how other people think or feel about this.

How do you feel or what do you think when you see street signs in English and in Spanish every where?

What about the products that we buy in the stores that has other languages plus the English language? The writing is so small so that they can get it all on there.

What about when you are trying to call a business and the person that answers the call has a hard time speaking English to the point that you can't hardly understand them?

Just wondering what other people think and feel about this. Sorry if I offend anyone here, cause I don't mean to, I am just curious.

I don't know why I done it but I pulled up to a redlight today and there was all these homeless looking children, so I reached in my purse, and pulled out all my change, and just throwed it at them as hard as I could and then just floored it. I don't know if that was a sin or a blessing on them people?

Why do so many here put down microevolution? Both macro- and micro-evolution are part of the evolution theory. Why can't everyone embrace both? It is actually easier to view evolution on a molecular scale. Take a class on biochemistry and/or molecular biology, and it will be very easy to understand this part of evolution. I have seen too many people put this down as an absurd creationist point of view to accept evolution. Microevolution is fact. A good example would be spermatogenesis and oogenesis undergoing genetic recombination of the parent's gene pool. Thus, a mixing of the gene pool passed on to their children (unique genetic profile).

I am a transsexual and I want to start transitioning from female to male. While it is not going to be a matter of real transition just yet (only baby steps like binding and packing), I want to come out because I am very sick of hiding in the closet.

The problem is that I live in a college dorm and though it is a co-ed house, the suite and room are single-sex. That is, my roommate and suitemate are both female, but I am male. I do not know if this will cause problems either socially or administratively -- is it possible that I might have to move out if I come out?

Does the belief in having no god or believing that this life has no real meaning, leave you with a sence of hopelessness or empty inside? does it bring the questions that are deep within your heart seem unanswered? Just asking this question because I'm a Christian and I don't know what it is like thinking in the atheistic mindset...
please give serious answers, I'm really interested.....

sacrificed everything for you? I mean everything. He was never loved or cared for as a child, harassed and ignored as a teenager and lonely and depressed as a young adult..

He never had much, if any, money. He was never in a caring, intimate, loving relationship with anyone. He spent his days alone, depressed and in constant emotional pain.

Now imagine, he was also the most caring, loving and interesting person you could ever meet. He was very intelligent, attractive and was very dedicated to achieving his dreams. Also, imagine he was very close to achieving them. He was also very close to finding the love of his life so for once he wouldn't be alone and sad.

Now imagine... God came into his life and told him to sacrifice it all so humanity would finally have some hope.

Finally, imagine that he would have to spend the rest of eternity alone and in depression and in pain... for you... all of you.

How would you feel about him?..especially since he never asked for any of it

Galations 3:12 tells us that the Law is not based on faith.

The post-modern world is telling Christians, "You can't force your faith on me," when what they really mean is "You can't force your morality on me." If we were smart we'd simply reply, "Morality is not a matter of faith, it is what it is no matter what you or I think." Why don't we answer this way more often? Why do we try to fight by conceding to the underlying falsity?

I'm a Lutheran. We teach, according to the Bible three uses of the God's Law. The first is like a gift to both believers & unbelievers in the secular realm. It gives God's servant in Romans 13:4, "the power to punish the wrongdoer." Why wouldn't we want to share this truth even with unbelievers?

are so clueless, they ask horrible questions that would horrify Miss Manners - How much do you make? How old are you? Why is your kid in a wheelchair? Why is your eye like that? Are those real? Are you pregnant? One time a student asked me who died because I was wearing all black, I said, "My uncle. We are going to his funeral today." Stupid kid. No one died I just thought he was an idiot for asking. People don't realize how idiotic they are for asking these questions. What do you think about these stupid and insensitive people. What do you do when asked a rude question?

Women are threatened by my appearance and I hardly have any female friends. I smile and I'm a positive person. I never hit on someone else's husband or boyfriend when they are the ones who are hitting on me and I am at fault for it. It hurts to see other women talk behind my back and give me looks like I'm a biatch, whore, slut, when I didn't do anything to them or their boyfriends/husbands. I guess they are jealous or threatened of me, my looks, or something, so they give me a bad name and spread rumors behind my back. I take care of myself, exercise, and eat right. I know how to dress. I wear clothes that doesn't show my cleavage and if I wear dresses, they are below my knees, not miniskirts. I do not dress promiscuous like I'm asking for it. Natural beauty runs in my family. My mother is beautiful and graceful for her age and looks like a model. My grandmother is almost 70 and still looks stunning and beautiful.

How do I make other women trust me because I am a good person?

This question is for people who think it is OKAY for teenagers (or older people) to trick-or-treat.

I have over a hundred trick-or-treaters come every year and about a third are teenagers. I have no problem with it and actually enjoy seeing them and their costumes. I don't think you're ever too old to trick-or-treat as long as you dress up and you're polite.

Since I see a lot of teens wondering if it's okay, I'd just like to reiterate that a lot of people think it's fine. So what's a good comeback for teenagers (and older people) when they get the "aren't you a little old to be trick-or-treating" comments?

Please offer something positive and witty. We don't need them to say rude things that only feed the naysayers.

Isnt it soooo funny how people think! They reason that just because its fun that its alright to do it. Like Halloween...it is a Holiday that deals with spiritism, and paganistic worship, but people reason its fun so its okay to do it, or that its okay to celebrate Easter even though it too is worship to a paganistic god and has nothing to do with Jesus ressurection...but people reason..its okay just because its fun....and so it goes with all the other holidays. Oh how Satan has blinded the "minds of the unbelievers" and how "he is misleading the whole entire earth". Email me if you have any comments or questions for me...i would love to hear your opinions on this.

My aunt has gotten together a group of friends who go and feed the homeless every Sunday with food that they bought with their own funds and cooked with their own hands. They are now serving close to 200 people a week. This group is recieving some scorn and criticism from local churches who say that the food they serve is too good for the homeless as well as from city officials who are threatening to shut them down. For these homeless folks, it is often the only good meal they have all week. Many of them are children. My Aunt started this for her own spiritual reasons and does not want any press or recognition. Do you have any ideas on how to help?
