...all these American kids just putting their homework questions on Y!A? They clearly have internet access and could just as easily do a google search or something, but they choose to be lazy and get answers with no work at all. How are they going to learn anything?

When you consider the fact that they're using the internet, they should be able to atleast figure out how to use search engines on their own. So in a way, maybe that could be one of our downfalls. Instead of figuring out something on their own or taking the time to search for some help, they rush to ask for someone else to do it. Some of them don't even figure out video games on their own these days. They jump online to find a walkthrough and cheats then feel as if they accomplished something when they beat the game.

You could say the same thing about google. In the not so distant past, the only place to find those answers was in the library. Reading and talking to people who have the experience to know are becoming lost arts, and not just in America.

Well, your not the only one that sees this happening. Most of us users tell them to do their own homework. However, at least they are utilizing techonolgy to try and get their homework done. They should be using the internet to yahoo search their topic and get thier needed answers instead of asking for it directly on q an a. I, very much agree, WITH YOU.

As for the homework thing, it's annoying, yes, but even you needed help sometime or another with it. Asking Qs on here is no different than calling up a friend for an answer or asking their parents.
