I was born a roman catholic and I'm still a Roman Catholic..Yes the catholic church needs to be more upfront with certain things...but other than that....don't put people down for being catholic...

Not only the Catholic Church, but many others who follow book religion. They are afraid that if people knew the whole truth they would not come and worship and so they would loose a good income that comes from it's followers. Plus they can't control people without guilt or other reasons. Ahhh the troubles with humans!

The Catholic church is a man-made, man-run organization. As such, it is prone to basic human frailty. Unfortunately the Catholic church is a BIG BUSINESS too! The Bible warns that the love of money is the root of all evil. Now you tell me why the Catholic church wouldn't out their homosexual, predator, pedophile priests? Could it be ... bad publicity?
