I think Halloween itself isn't evil - how could it be? It's only a day of the week. How can it be evil for people to dress up in costumes and have fun? I'd be willing to bet a greater majority of people are not even aware of the Pagan origins of the day. (I am a Christian - and honestly I have never met an evil Pagan.)
Just because we dress up and have fun on that day does not mean we are "celebrating" All Hallows Eve. It's just an excuse to behave like an 8 year old for a while.

I am a Christian and I agree that we have misunderstood the meanings of holidays. Or not really misunderstood, but we have forgotten the true value of these holidays. I still think Halloween can easily be a fun, children's holiday and Easter is NOT worshipping a paganistic God!! We all have our different beliefs on what true fun is. It can be good and bad. It's bad when it goes too far. But as far as holidays go, you believe what you believe. I choose the religious side.

Jesus said something about evil is not something put in ones month, like candy from Halloween, or Easter eggs - so why do humans insist on not listening to this, and enjoy life more?
When a mother and father, looking for activities for their children, investigate a community activity and find it ok - then it is ok for their children to participate in. WHY do strangers keep insisting on hurting innocents?!!?
I - aw, you are not listening to GOD - but humans, never mind. GOD PLEASE protect parents and children from all the "righteous".

My opinion is: You should get a life. How does affect you if a person celebrates Halloween?
Put down your archaic fairy-tale book and live alittle.

Like a typical Jesus freak, you want to suck all the fun out of life. Wake up and join the real world.

Funnier is your ignorance of All Hallow's Eve which is followed by All Saint's Day.
I suppose you think XMas is more important than Easter.

Careful what you wish for.
If you are going to remove all pagan ideas from Christianity, you won't have anything left when you're finished.

I find it funny that people let ancient books control their lives. But to each his own.
