My heart is no different now than it was when I was a believer... I am still optimistic, happy, and a very lucky person. I am good to others, and have the honor of having so many who are good to me!
If you really are interested... my life is better without the propoganda of religion... (not to be mean, just to let you know how it feels for me...).

Where do you get these ideas?
Your life is this way without your imaginary sky fairy?
This life has the meaning I give it. Hopeless of what? Empty of what? I have a full and meaningful life. The difference is that I take responsibility for my actions rather than blame it on some red guy with horns.

Why would I feel hopelessness and emptyness deep in my heart? You will die just like me. We both have the same future. I am living a happy life filled with friends and family. Just because you can't comprehend the atheist mindset doesn't give you the right to think we are miserable. We are not. We are realistic and have learned to live with it.

Quite the contrary.
An atheist experiences a sense of freedom yet a sense of morality that differs from a religious person's perspective.
We do not feel empty at all. Personally, I feel liberated and, at the same time, civilised, obeying natural laws and concentrating on living my life to the best, as it is the only one I will ever have.
It is really wonderful to be free of all the nonsense associated with the myths of ancient times.
Religion is a curse on mankind, brought upon mankind BY mankind.

Yes, and thus is the belief system of atheism conducive to political religion, which has far greater potential for evil than theistc religion, as they operate out an objectyvely baseles moral system. Instead rely upon what seems finitely "reasonable" to them. And that is just what great atheists as Stalin, Mao and Pol Pot and classic Communism did in slaying their millions of innocents.
Now militant atheists lust to do likewise, beginning with removing childen from Christian/creationist homes.

I too am a born again Christian. But its the faith you have in God that keeps you alive. All humans need to have something to look forward to another day. God is the ruler in my house. I may not act like it sometimes but I sure will not exclude HIM. I feel for those who have little faith or none at all. NO no matter what I have does not mean that an atheists can come in to my life and persuade me that life has no meaning etc. Athesists in my opin. are lop sided in life, no where to turn, and hopeless to their own opin. and will be reckoned sooner or later. I dont speak out on other religions or faith or lack of it. But to not believe is to not partake in food. No food will bring death. Athesists in my opin are lost in their own little world.

No, but the fact that you would say such a thing reveals that YOU use the notion of deity to fill some sort of emptiness inside yourself.
And I don't believe that you are "really interested", based on the other kinds of questions you've been posting today.

you won't know and neither do they, they confused themselves.
You won't have an atheist who will give you the time of day.
They won't come up to you and love you and try to help you or something in any way.
Think about it. It's common sense if you ask a question like that, no atheist will say something along the lines of
"Well, this is what it is like to be in the atheist sort of mindset, (goes on to explain) and sometimes I just feel like crap, most of the time everything sucks and We are miserable. I hate being an athiest. So basically you are good the way you are"
you're not going to find such an answer. They will defend themselves.

to make you hear, to make you feel to make you see Conrad's words. I just use the verb to feel and this implies sorrow whose spring you cannot hear, see, touch, understand. That's the point: you become ust sorrow and you are not able to say 'WHY'. Can you imagine such a thing? you burn, you bleed, your head hurts, your body hurts ... you feel someoneelse's pain and you are not able to say from hom this sorrow comes to you. Clearly if the person is near to you you can even see within his/her very eyes what kind of fire is torturing his/her heart. The problem is: how could you be of help?

Not at all.
Do you feel empty and like life has no meaning because you don't believe in Zeus?
It's the same thing, here. I'm very happy and fulfilled. I just don't share your religious beliefs.
