She is an senior staff member who moved into the room next to mine about 2 weeks after I got my room. It's a YWCA, by the way, not an apartment, so its really more of a boarding house. I have lived with this for years, and it's uncomfortable for me since for a long time, the smell really wasn't geting into my room. Well, now it is, and in a BIG way! I resent having to move out due to this; I have come to see this place as home. The YWCA started renting me this room way back in 2001 after I exited their domestic violence shelter. This lady has a bum hip and I love her to death--she truly is the sweetest person you could ever meet--but the stench is getting on my clothes, and keeping me awake. I'd burn a candle, but that's not allowed, and the fear of fire in me is strong. So geezz...what can I do...I have no car, & work nights, so moving would be a nightmare, not to mention that the town I'm writing from IS a nightmare--so I'm afraid to move out. I feel so trapped right now.
