Lets say some ppl are doing very bad things.
There isnt much ppl on ur side to help ya and support ya.The admin/Law isnt that helpful. And everything just doesnt seem to work out for ya
And even though it might not be legal but it is the right thing to do and it would make a huge difference to u and others. So would u take matters into ur own hands and do the right thing? Or u would be a coward and dont do anything , be treated like a dog and later on u would think that " i could had done something but i did not".

I'm a Christian a Pastor's kid. Please don't leave rude comments, because they will be ignored.

Not everybody's relationship goes right first off. Mine didn't I got abused and so did the kid's mentally. Their dad did some really stupid stuff and now he has visitation.

Is it normal to feel scared to talk or be around him? They are very "RUDE" to put it nicely. Threatening also.

Guests can be past or present, or even fictional. Please state your reason for each individual.
My first two dinner guests would be Jesus and Hitler to see if their opinions of modern life were as they imagined when they were alive and if they liked one another.
My other guests would include Christopher Columbus, William Blake, Oliver Reed, Dante, Che Guevara and Cleopatra.

You actively choose to believe that there are no gods and that anyone who thinks that you're wrong is obviously uneducated, so why don't you realize that any persecution that you have to endure as a result of the path that you have chosen is nobody else's fault but your own?

once you tell them they have to believe or they go to hell, doesn't take free will out of it, because then they don't feel free to choose their own path?

Thank you for your response. I do understand where you're coming from, and would have even agreed with you a few years ago. Nevertheless, I no longer believe that religion is subjective.
Now, so as to clear up a misunderstanding, I'll try to explain a little more clearly. First, I do not support the public educational model. Therefore, I believe public schools should be eliminated altogether.
I do not believe that your child should be forced to attend a Catholic school. In fact, according to Catholic teaching, the parent is the primary natural educator of his or her child. You shouldn't be forced to send your child to a formal educational establishment at all, if you choose not to. You may educate them yourself, if you like. Or, if one exists, you could send them to a school which teaches secularism.

I feel so helpless sometimes because there's so much injustice in the world and I want to do something about it, but I don't know where to start. I admire people like MLK and Gandhi, but I'm so shy and introverted I wouldn't be able to do the things they did. I'm very passionate about certain issues that affect the poor, immigrants, and people of color. Why is the world so unjust and what can I do to make a difference?

in a way that makes sense. In the past I have always been told it's beyond human comprehension and Christians just have faith and believe it. I cannot accept this, so please help me (and many other non-Christians) understand. Thanks.

I am not asking if you think Science is a religion, it isn't.

What really disturbs me in debates like evolution, is that people chime in comments like "its scientifically proven that we evolved from apes" and "science proves the bible is a load of rubbish"

I see in those people the same trends as Fundamentalists Christians, which is to say that they constantly refer to the Bible as proof of their beliefs, usually without having read it or understood it but totally confident that everything they say is proven by saying "The Bible says"

just like certain people will say "But science says"

Seems to me the true believes have more in common with each other than they know. Not in what they believe, but in how they believe.

I mean all you have to do is say "Sorry, God, my bad" and then go on your way as if nothing ever happened.

This charge is made at Catholics all the time, but non-Catholic Christians have made it even easier by making it unnecessary to humble yourself by going to a priest to confess.
