That is true, homosexuals is a diviant form of sex used by demons and it is not natural. God would not require something that we could not do. that in its self tells us that self control and changing our thoughts would go a long way towards helping them to over come the problem.

Of all the natural instincts that humans possess , the instinct to preserve oneself is the greatest of all. To make a conscious choice to be a homosexual goes directly against the instinct for self -preservation.
If you just use this site as a barometer to judge the level of hate for these people , you have to admit that being homosexual could be a very dangerous thing to be and that no reasonable person would chose that option if they had any choice in the matter.
Maybe you belong to a a younger generation that didn't see the extreme violence that gay people encountered in the past. .I'm not of that generation.
When I was in high school back in the late 60"s there was this really smart ,nerdy kid that wanted to grow up to be a rocket scientist-[Those were the days of the Apollo Program after all. ]This kid also happened to be gay. One day he got caught in a compromising position with another student by a bunch of homophobic mofo ,pos ,frat boys and overnight this kids IQ was reduced by 80 points and stayed that way for the rest of his life.
So I put it to you .Given the very real possibility of death or disability ,Why would anybody in their right mind ever be homosexual unless they had no choice in the matter ?

All, that is to say the very few, that I have seen documented as becoming straight have been through years of therapy, struggle with it daily, and are not happy.
Before making a blithe assertion, it is best to have facts to back up your statements. Granted, like with anything else there are a number of people that have tendencies to a lesser or greater extent, and it may be some of those that you're referring to.
I'm definitely straight, and the idea that a same sex relationship is a temptation is laughable, I just can not find the same sex attractive even if I tried.

There are people who claim to have been homosexual and are now strait. In fact there are many Christian ministries that are directed specifically on that.
If you take a close look at these people, you will find that they live a daily struggle to fight the homosexual emotions and feelings they have. Christians call them temptations, but most of the people who "help" homosexuals will tell you that these people will have to 'fight' homosexual urges for the rest of their lives.
If that is the case then how can homosexuality be a choice?

All of those people were living a lie in their lives or they are currently living a lie. People don't just magically turn "gay" or turn "straight". They are born that way and some are born "bi-sexual" so it would stand to reason that those people could be perceived as changing but they actually just happen to find a partner of an opposite sexual orientation.

There are no people who "used to be homosexuals and are now straight" - OR the other way around.
But, you know, think whatever the hell you want about homosexuality. I'm gay - if you want to think it's a "choice" on my part, fine. Whatever helps you sleep at night. Of course, I have a hard time imagining why I'd make the "choice" to be gay if I wasn't gay already - but whatever.
Some "Christians," realizing how ridiculous their position is, have refined their bigotry to "Well, OK, some people are born with homosexual impulses, but it's a sin to ACT on them." Because, of course, gay people can't get married and thereby sanctify their naughty bits. So I'm supposed to go through life celibate in order to find grace with God, and my sexuality is just an extra "challenge" from Him. We've seen how well this theory worked out with the Catholic priests! No thanks. I don't think it's a coincidence that the "God" of petty, sexually neurotic hypocrites always turns out to be a petty, sexually neurotic hypocrite Himself.

No.
This is a common misunderstanding. People forget that there are differences between choice and inclination. There are also positions other than homosexual and heterosexual.
A person who is not homosexual may choose at some point to have homosexual sex with a person. There are also people who are bisexual, who may fall in love with people of either sex.
A male who has relationships with males may be homosexual, bisexual or confused. To state that a male who has sex with males is necessarily homosexual is to be ignorant of the variety inherent in human sexuality.
A male who becomes attracted to females after having relationships exclusively with males, may have in fact been bisexual.
Sexual orientation is not a choice. People may be asexual, homosexual, heterosexual or bisexual. People who are bisexual people are the ones who are capable of being attracted to either sex.
On the other hand, people often forget that one does not even choose who they might fall in love with. Do you know anyone who can simply say "I choose to fall in love with (insert name here)"?
There is a great deal more to sexuality than choices. To assert otherwise is evidence of prejudice and ignorance.

Homosexuality has been documented in lab animals when overpopulation occurs. I know of no homosexuals who have gone straight except in cases of outward showing for religious or guilt. Your argument for choice has no basis in fact. It is a religious opinion.
No I am not gay I am married with 4 kids and have no desire to have sex with men. But I can look at evidence and discern fact from fantasy.

Are you trying to tell me that I chose to be gay? When I grew up it was illegal. Gays were and still are persecuted. We don't have equal rights with our heterosexual friends even though gay sex is now legal. Why would I choose to fall in love with someone of the same sex knowing all the problems it is going to bring me? In some parts of the world, homosexuality still carries the death sentence yet homosexuals exist. Do you think they choose that?
You are an ignorant fool, probably confused by your fundamentalist religion. Try reading books other than Leviticus, you might learn about love and tolerance.

Not your natural orientation, but it can be a choice to change it. A hard choice at that.

No, it only shows that no-one is exclusively one way or the other. Nature, needing procreation, quite righltly impels many to hetersexuality and in some situations (population density being one) impels others to homosexulaity. Then there are developmental issues, as Freud and other expanded upon. Either way, neither is exclusive and involve no moral or ethical issues. At least for no other species than us over-thinking, self-punishing, monkey-brained idiots!
