Do you find god more b.s than anything. Even though his likely hood of his existence is more myth than truth.

I grew up near there and used to call it "tal-ah-DEE-gah" I've heard residents call it "tal-ah-DIG-ah" but I've never heard natives call it by the name people everywhere else call it, "tal-ah-DAY-gah." Can someone who is a native of the town of Talladega and who actually lives in town of Talladega answer this?

Many people do not realize that Yehoshua/Jesus was a Jewish man that practiced the faith and religion of his ancestors, that being Judaism. In order to even qualify as the promised holy prophet, the moshiach, you must fully keep all of the law of Moses and the commands given through the proven prophets. Without doing so that person is disqualified. In this faith that Jesus practiced it teaches that the moshiach is a made being, thus making it imposible for him to be the God of Israel. Lets look at some of these passages in our Tanakh - the real holy scriptures. The famous Micah 5:2 says this:
"But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,
though you are small among the clans of Judah,
out of you will come for Me [Yehowah]
one who will be ruler over Israel,
whose origins are from of old,
during the age of eternity [literally: before the counting of time]."

I found out about this topic while listening to a Christian ministry podcast (this ministry helps people get out of pornography addictions and stuff) last night. So I would like to know what other people think about this.

Do you believe that a pastor who has strayed from God should NOT be kicked out of the church?

Let's put it this way. Say for example, a senior pastor has a pornography problem and he admits to it and wants to get help. Should he be kicked out of the church or should he be allowed to work at the church, but not be in a position of leadership? What happens if the guy was caught instead of apologizing? Should he be kicked out or given a chance to redeem himself?

No smart aleck questions, please. Those will be ignored.

Is this perhaps the greatest legacy of God's six-day creation binge?

You think maybe he ever wonders what he was thinking?

I read parts and pieces of the Bible and it sounds like someone just wrote it one day, in hope of controlling the people around them. And Im not talking about God writing it or anyone like that. Im just talkng about some wannabe dictator decided the best way to control people is to write a book and preach about a higher power, in order to control. To me the Bible seems more like a form of Government than anything. Im not trying to pick agruments or anything. I would just like to hear what you think. Maybe Im wrong, maybe Im not. Who really knows whose right or wrong when it comes to God and Religion? When you answer try not to bring down anyone elses beliefs please. Thanks

And he will be a wild donkey of a man; his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren (Genesis 16:12)

Was this spoken only of Ishmael or all his descendants too ?

The Amish town in Pennsylvania where six girls were killed in a school shooting last year, was awarded 11.3 million dollars. That same Amish community then turned around and gave the shooters wife millions of dollars to help her because she no longer had a husband to help pay the bills. Could you do something like this? I personally, hope that I would be able to do the same thing.

I have a friend who converted to Catholicism who studied theology and began to explain why catholics do what they do. I have to say Catholicism is realy beautiful now I want to kiss the popes ring!!! But how does Mary fit into the picture is it because she was the first to encounter God face to face or was touched by Jesus and the Holy Spirit and so they honor her? Catholics only please I am already a Protestant and I want to know what the rest of the body believes. I love Catholics now I get the picture. The other thing is I have done more than three miracles and am a virgin so how do I get declared a saint? I want to be touched by the catholic church so I can share the power of Christs touch with the protestants so they can be empowered too!

The Holy Spirit
With the ascension of Christ we have the arrival of the Holy Spirit (John 14:26; Acts 2) who ministers to the Church through the mediation of Christ (1 Tim. 2:5) and the Scriptures.
He is fully God; He is not a force. He is the third person of the Trinity.
He has a will - 1 Cor. 2:11
He speaks - Acts 13:2
He loves - Rom. 15:30
He can be grieved - Eph. 4:30
He convicts of sin - John 16:8
He creates - Gen. 1:2; Job 33:4
He gives gifts - 1 Cor. 12:8
He Intercedes - Rom. 8:26
He teaches - John 14:26
He testifies of Jesus - John 15:26
He baptizes - 1 Cor. 12:13
He guides - John 16:13
He encourages - Acts 9:31
He empowers - Micah 3:8
He gives joy - Rom. 14:17
He comforts - John 14:16-26
The Holy Spirit indwells the believer (Rom. 8:11) and continues to work in him to bring about sanctification (Rom. 15:16).
The Holy Spirit illuminates the mind of the believer (1 Cor. 2:12,13) and reveals to Him the things of God (1 Cor. 2:10,13; 1 John 2:27).

I had told her in the beginning that my husband would kill me if he knew I was lending it out. Their lawnmower has been broke and she keeps promising me her boyfriend is supposed to be getting some extra money and she is going to make him have theirs fixed or either buy one. Well, her boyfriend called over here tonight to talk to my husband about something, but my husband wasn't here. I ended up talking to him on the phone and he told me they had went shopping (I assumed for a lawnmower). I asked what they went shopping for and he said a Recliner. He said he found a really good one for $399.00. I said "Oh well that's good" and tried to contain myself. What would you of said or done?

In light of my last two questions, I'm apparently Agnostic (I hate that concept). Now. I've been informed, much to my disbelief, that there are people who say there is absolutely no possibility of any god. Be they ones we've heard of or not. Now, I know you can't prove a negative, that was basically the basis of my last questions. But tell me, if you are certain there is no god: why? How do you know that? I don't believe in the existance of ANY gods that I've heard of: Christ is bull, Allah is bull. Zeus is bull. None of the gods I've ever heard of had made sense, so I say none of the current gods exist. I thought that made me atheist, but apparently not. Now tell me, what is your basis for believing there is NO god. You have to have some kind of reason for thinking that. Man I can't word things tonight...read my last two questions to understand this one better. I'm asking this for no other reason, than...I don't like being considered agnistic. Agnostics just seem like atheists.
