Not a bad idea to get right with God, and if the sound of airplanes motivates you then I pray that they keep flying over your house.
I do think that if the rapture happens like some people think it will happen, you're more likely to hear (or see) a car crash than an airplane...and a whole lot of screaming if you happen to be in a crowd and people watch others disappear.
Of course, I think it is pretty dangerous to focus on the rapture or to believe that you know when it might happen (even in a broad chronological sequence sense). I might like to hope that God will take me out of the way before all the horrible things in Revelation start happening...but if I chose to believe that, I could easily wake up with the mark on my hand (or forehead) one day because I didn't recognize it for what it was...I missed it because I was still waiting for the rapture that hadn't happened yet! For me the best strategy is to prepare as if God is coming back tonight and leave the rest of the plan, including the timing, in his capable hands!

You would do better to think that the rapture came if alot of planes start falling to the ground due to the pilots and co-pilots being raptured.
And personally, I always thought that the rapture would sound like a sonic boom that was only audible to those being caught up.

That would never cross my mind since the "rapture" is a false teaching. You should "get right with God" though.

I think your statement,
"I am so paranoid"
sums it up.
"Maybe it is a reminder for me to get right with God before the rapture."
Maybe. Or maybe, - just a thought here- maybe you live where airplanes fly overhead.
Sounds like someone overdosed on jezis juice...
Anyway, you're funny ...

I don't think it is the rapture. I know that planes crash and I look to see where the planes are relative to me.

Both my children and I do start to wonder when we hear loud noises in the sky....ecspecially thunder..but we think its the Lord comming to get us...to return..i expect to see him in the sky calling us up to him...so i dont think ive been left behind...but i think it does mean you think often of the Lord which is good..are there unconfessed sins in your life/// if there are ask him to help you change them..he will come through for you..

I think you are having lots of guilty feelings from pulling away from God. You need to focus on strengthening your relationship with Him. I do not get scared when I hear noises, because I know I will be immediately in the Lord's presence when that time comes.

End time theology makes a travesty of the Gospel message to love one and other. It allows people to abandon their calling to be stewards to the Earth, and to each other.

I don't believe in the rapture (it was never preached by the apostles and made up 200 years ago). I believe in Christ and his glorious second coming. God bless.
