I grew up near there and used to call it "tal-ah-DEE-gah" I've heard residents call it "tal-ah-DIG-ah" but I've never heard natives call it by the name people everywhere else call it, "tal-ah-DAY-gah." Can someone who is a native of the town of Talladega and who actually lives in town of Talladega answer this?

Cherokee pronunciation is tah-lah-DAY-gah, but the word is Mvskoke in origin. It wouldn't be tah-lah-DEE-ga ever.
