if God is so perfect, then why isn't our idea of him PERFECTLY clear to humanity? if such a God existed, we wouldn't have a need to fight over him or what he requires us to do for salvation. when something is perfect, it has to be perfect by everyones opinion, and therefore would not be argued over. everyone would just agree that it's perfect. does anyone see what i'm getting at?

okay so, I'm getting marriend in october and no one in my family has offered to throw a bachlorett party for me. I have three really close girl cousins that I love and we all say we are sisters but none of them have stepped up to the plate. So today I called one of them and said hey I want to have a bachlorette party do you think you could organize it and I'll pay for everything? she was like for sure. Don't worry about it. I'll do it. when I was asking her this I wanted to cry because I was so hurt that I even had to ask. anyways what would you think if I asked you that? Would you be mad? hurt? what?

All non-Jehovah's are serving Satan and are controlled by demons. Jehovah's organization is the only truth. Did you know that they believe that? So the next time they come to your door ask them if they believe you are are serving God or the Devil. Of course they might avoid the question. Do they seem so nice now?

I'm getting laser hair removal treatments and I was wondering... should I tip the person that does the actual treatment? It sort of seems like a cross between a doctor's visit (where you generally wouldn't tip the doctor or nurse) and a spa treatment (where you definitely would tip the person). The people that do it are actual nurses. Also, each treatment is like $130 or so, so if I wanted to tip 15%, it would be like $20!! But I don't want to be rude or do the wrong thing..

It should be no surprise that we have the highest aids rate, gay rate, abortion rate, jail rate, drop out rate, murder rate, death rate, poverty rate, and unemployment rate our nation has ever seen. You would think that somebody, somewhere would get concerned. But the men and women that have crept into our pulpits unaware are helping themselves to your money, but not giving a care about your soul.

I have looked around my Church, and I have talked to folks at other Churches, and this is hardly a rare thing. There are many single people in Church, many widows and widowers, but there are also lots of people who attend Church but who have a spouse who does not attend. If you are one of these people, does this have any effect on your relationship?

Of course, in an ever increasingly plural society, there are couples of differing religions or denominations, and there are shift workers, or people who are just disenchanted with the church. So there are many reasons why one person might stay away while their spouse attends.

What's your experience - if any - of this?

The Want To Do ANYTHING but sit and watch tv. We checked all the air ducts heaters air stove. All okay.We have were always active, but it's slowly has sucked the life out of us all. It's different when we leave, but getting out the door is tough. We all have one reason or another to do nothing. Our house is in shambles. And i myself have gone months w/o leaving the house. Not for no place to go, but i just dont want or have the energy to do so.At first it was just just me, i was home more, but as time went on it has affected my entire family. we own 182 acres, with a lake. 2 years , no ones gone swimming of fishing. horses that have never been rode since bought.5 years ago, although i was an avide rider. Any Info whould be welcome. Thanks

Atheists are obsessed with Christians ... they ask question after question, they mock us in their answers ... but why? If they dislike us so much, why don't they just simply ignore us? Well I believe that deep down inside, atheists know that God exists. Somewhere, deep down inside, atheists know that God loves them, and they are asking for help. If they truly believed that there is no God, they wouldn’t be so obsessed with Christianity. When Jesus returns, they will see.

There are many transitional fossil for many species, including our own, yet the fundies demand even more transitional forms, and when more are found, they demand more again.
Clearly they aren't aware of the rarity of fossils and the unique conditions needed for fossilisation.

When other resources are cited explaning the many corroborative dating methods, they will deny the well documented science behind them, and offer the standard creationist party line spiel about the "inaccuracies of carbon dating" using "known" false and dishonest examples to do so, and which are not part of the mainstream sciences.

Isn't it strange to see these fundies demand and evidence and cited resources and automatically reject or ignore them, when their beliefs require NO EVIDENCE and are based on hearsay and faith.. How convenient..

Science merely describes the natural world honestly, and has no agenda for or against any religion, yet these people dishonestly attack and misrepresent science.
