No really,I'm not a church goer never have been I went once and it totally creeped me out I never went back, but organised religion can be far different than individual worship that is kept to yourself. When atheists or whoever lump all believers of Christ into one organization it makes you sound...well rediculous.

Would Jesus have wanted us to shove our beliefs down the throats of people who just do not want it? Is it not better to show the love of Christ by example instead of clubbing someone with our beliefs? I believe in sharing the good news too, but not with people who have told me they do not want it. If they show interest in what my beliefs are, I am more than happy to share them. I have before and this seems to work much better! I think it is far better to let my light shine and light the way with my good example! What are your thoughts on this, Christian? Is there a way to share the gospel without being abrasive and irritating folks? All responses welcome as long as they are respectful!

Note that I didn't ask how many "persons" are in the Trinity, because "persons" has a special meaning there... is God one individual, or three individuals? If He's three, then how is that different from three Gods? (In the Bible, Jesus said that the Father was "greater" than him and that the time of his return was known not by the angels "nor the Son, but the Father only"... Does Jesus have a separate mind from the Father? How else could he not know something that is known to the Father?!?) Also, if Jesus was an infant during the Nativity, who was running the universe while he had the mind of a child? The Father? Then the Father and the Son are two separate individuals, and therefore two Gods...

I might be the odd man out here, but I LOVE anti-Mormon websites, because they go to nearly everything I have problems with a typical Christian church and show how the LDS relgion is right.

So, am I weird or has anyone else noticed/agreed with this?

Note: I am not LDS... I just percieve this way...

My AP U.S. history teacher is very liberal. She talks highly of and pushes belief on points that I don't agree with at all. Should I speak up and risk a bad grade/ bad reputation (of being a person who looks for trouble) or should I just write what she wants to hear? It hurts to stay silent, but i know that i have to pick my battles. Help Me! This isn't about the right or the left...answer on what you would do in this situation regarding your personal beliefs...

My husband and I have been married for 5 years, in the beginning we had a great sex life, then our two boys came along and now we only have sex if I beg. And in truth, no, I have not gained weight or let myself go, I still attract men at work and when I go out. There was an incident when we seperated and during that seperation he quickly was in bed with another woman despite us not having sex, he always used the excuse he was tired or work stress etc. Now he has a new guy friend that he is very secretive about, they exchange texts (nothing sexual but kinda feminine) like putting smiley faces on the end of a sentence, or or just texting to say hi. I have heard this guy is having similar marriage problems. I've met him and he seems to avoid me. My husband is "homophobic", says it's a sickness, but yet he had a friend in his bachelor days that was very david bowie like, (had a girlfriend but had gay sex just for kicks), they spent a LOT Of time together. Am I right to worry.

My 98 year old grandmother is dying in bed of a pneumonia. She is not going to make it. I am trying to save her soul from the despair of hell, but she just won't have it. I have told her that if she doesn't accept Jesus Christ as her Lord and PERSONAL saviour that she will burn in hell for the rest of eternity. She will be continually raped by fire demons until her head explodes and then the process will start all over again. I keep telling her that this is what is going to happen to her if she doesn't accept Christ.
She tells me that religion is the Devil and that in her lifetime she has seen all the problems religion can create. What an old fuddy duddy.
What should I do?

Did Jesus exist before being born on Earth?? The Bible says that God GAVE his only begotten son which to me says that Jeusu had existed beforehand, but what confuses me is that he was also born on this Earth. So was he around in Heaven before being born here?

Eternal bliss ( which would take a lot of hard work, and a number of tests) to go through

or

Something which is, lets say.. moratal pleasure.. which lasts only for a while.. which would you choose and why?

Are you trying to live up to the answer you chose?

Or does the faculty of not knowing stop you in your tracks. By this I mean.. since we are aware of pleasures that make us happy for a while, and not aware of eternal bliss.. yet... Does the notion of not knowing eternal bliss, stop you from attaining it.

I know many of you would question what eternal bliss is.. but I believe I can attain it if I am a good human being, which is a good representative of Islam. But what if, for those who don't believe... eternal bliss or paradise were to become obvious..

would you work hard to achieve it?
