It did...
2 Timothy 4:3
For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine [logic]. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of [christian] teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.
words in brackets added by me to clarify the true esoteric meaning of the scripture.

Yeah, I think that is a reference to our ever-expanding wealth of knowledge in terms of technology and scientific advances.
But in regards to stupidity and gullibility, there's no way for us to know whether it increased or decreased because none of us have been alive during any other era. Maybe it just seems like the world is getting dumber because we now have the media to spread the word. Now we have the technology to admire each other's stupidity.
Also, I read somewhere a couple of months ago that IQ's have actually increased over the past 50 years.
On a more lighthearted note, have you ever seen the movie Idiocracy? It's about the world getting dumber, and it's actually really funny.

It did. The Bible is full of accountings of the stupidity of mankind, both in history and in prophecy. No, I can't quote anything specific, but not only the book of Daniel, but the book of Revelation, reveals how with mankind's increased knowledge, will be increased immorality and evil and acts of stupidity, folly, hatred, and all the lovely things that will happen before Christ returns to this earth.

Daniel 12:4 is pointing to not physical knowledge, but spiritual knowledge that God's elect will have near the end of time. The inspired prophet Jeremiah noted the increase of stupidity among those who worship idols, more than once:
Jeremiah 10:14 nasb - Every man is stupid, devoid of knowledge; Every goldsmith is put to shame by his idols; For his molten images are deceitful, And there is no breath in them.
Jer 51:17 - All mankind is stupid, devoid of knowledge; Every goldsmith is put to shame by his idols, For his molten images are deceitful, And there is no breath in them.

if the bible prophesied about the increase in stupidity of mankind then they would have to produce a reason somewhere along the line and the reason would be that the reason people got stupid is because they keep asking the bible permission before even thinking.... Here's an example of the epidemic:
Conversation overheard between an Atheist and a Hippie..
Atheist: "do you think christians know how to use toilet paper, the instructions aren't found in the bible?"
Hippie: "Of course it is, on the inside cover it says.. "Step 1: tear page, Step 2: insert in crap Step 3 wipe"
Atheist: "Is that it?"
Hippie:"ya!"
Atheist:"one could only imagine the confusion afterwards"

Tofu - to you and others like you, no, you are not stupid because you ask. That is how you learn. Fools mock and do not seek knowledge.
Two examples, there are more:
Proverbs 10:14 (NIV) says, "Wise men store up knowledge, but the mouth of a fool invites ruin."
Psalm 14: 1 The fool [a] says in his heart,
"There is no God."
They are corrupt, their deeds are vile;
there is no one who does good.
Knowledge has been increased for those who seek it. This applies to both biblical knowledge - understanding and modern day knowledge - technology.

The masses now have more knowledge at their fingertips (literally) than Any generation in history, more than the library in Alexandria.. This is a gilded age as far as the availability of information goes... now what we do with it gets into your point of the masses being asses.. but I think the more information that becomes available will win more and more converts to reasonableness and less and less to superstition

It DID...it said knowledge would increase but it also provided a clear illustration (through the order of the stories) that mankind tended to regress in terms of their ability to use that knowledge. If you look at the order of events in the Old Testament, a clear picture of man developing knowledge and becoming increasingly stupid as a result! God tells man to follow his instructions or suffer a negative consequence...man disobeys and suffers the consequences...God tells man to talk to him and obey his instructions for treating other people with love or suffer the consequences...man disobeys and suffers...man tells God that if they had a king, they would obey, God tells them that they are wrong and outlines the consequences...man chooses to have a king anyway...man suffers...man says give us more laws, God says I already did...man insists on more, God says OK and gives them more after warning them that the laws would make it worse...man doesn't listen and suffers...now we need judges to enforce the law and hand out punishments...God says "bad idea", we insist and suffer the consequences...etc., etc., etc.,...
In fact, one thing I see in the bible is that God DID predict that man would become more gullible...when he warned man against wanting to more understanding (wanting him to give them more information, more laws, more specifics about his instruction), he often mentioned that the consequences of this knowledge would be a greater likelihood of being deceived!

It did predict the increase of stupidity, but I guess that you missed it.
And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (2Th 2:10-12)
Looks pretty stupid to me; they reject the truth and accept the lies of the world.

i will just look into the fact you think people are more dumb since the Bible times. you are not correct, look what has happened since: the invention of light, the telephone, the car, the plane, the internet. look what we have built, and discovered, we went up into the moon. thousands of years people looked up at the moon and wished they could go up their, and our generation they did.
the fact that we may seem more dumb is what is going on around us, the distractions, the pressures, it complicates our minds making us not think as well in the day to day lifestyles.
