National God Day
February 30th

A day that doesn't exist for a god that doesn't either!

(An eye for an eye, right?)

Actually it should be April 13th, Thomas Jefferson's birthday. Franklin might be better but he could be disputed because he joined churches to get paying clients. He even built a synagogue once. Lincoln of course wrote an anti-Christian book once, he didn't even repudiate it while running for the Presidency, but he is important in too many other ways.

Twain's birthday would do as well, but he would kill us were he alive and probably charge us royalties on top of it.

Edison would work too, but he isn't a central character in our national myth system.

April 1 just has too many bad connotations, and it would give the ignoble opposition a reason to just ignore the alternative hypothesis.

I'm fine with April 1st as National Atheist Day. It's the one day of the year we can pretend to be as dumb as the theists are all year long.

February was robbed. Julius thought his name month should be longer so he stole it off Feb. I think one day was stolen for January, so there used to be a Feb. 30th.

I see you have been listening to Ray Comfort's "hell's best kept secret".
Give it another listen, maybe you'll get it.
