The answer is simple. If that were the case, everyone would KNOW there really was a God. The only choice would be to worship him or not. If there was no God, people would need to explain the unknown somehow, so they would make up their own religions, resulting in different religions around the world. We know for a fact that there ARE multiple religions in the world, so there must not be a perfect God with a well laid out plan for humans. If we were born into this world from God, why isn't there an intrinsic knowledge of him from the beginning, and why do we have to learn how to worship from HUMANS?

One might say that we simply do not have the means or intelligence to understand God fully. For humans themselves are deffinetly not perfect creatures. If we place God as a higher being then ourselves, then why should we be able to have a perfect idea of what he/she or it is? For then God would be equal. But it is highly improbable that every single person can come to agree of what exactly is perfect. Thus I have a problem with the notion of God be ever so loving of all his creations, it is hypocrytical to say such, cause then why would we feel necessary to please him/her/it in every way possible so that we guarantee ourselves to be granted salvation. Then come back and with an answer as to why some are damned to hell and some souls are saved? Which is also why I have a serious problem with religion. Too much of it is hypocrytical.

Very interesting question :) personally I do not think perfection exists, on any level. If it did, If God was perfect and thus made human beings to reflect him, how come we are not perfect? therein lies the answer.
There is no perfection, without it, is how we learn and strive to be better beings.
How boring that everyone was perfect, and we lived in a perfect world, then then would not be need to grow as people.

As a Christian, I honestly acknowledge all that God is is beyond my highest mental capacity to understand. But then I am human, mortal, and flawed. I am not immortal. I am not all-seeing, all-knowing, and all-powerful.
But it is not necessary for me to be any of the above, in order to recognize absolute truth and absolute perfection.
Since Satan's envy & jealousy of Adam and Eve brought about their loss of Eden, and Cain's jealousy, envy, and greed caused him to kill Abel, people have been arguing over their own self-serving perceptions of right and perfection.
Almighty God says, "I AM the same yesterday, today, and forever. I change not." And He has not. His words, & His promises have stood the test of time.
If you ask 100 people to define their idea of "perfection", you would have 100 different answers. It is the height of naivete to believe that as flawed, selfish, sinful human beings living in a flawed imperfect world that EVERYONE would EVER 100% agree on anything.
Adam and Eve had perfection in Eden and humanity will not see Almighty God's idea of perfection and harmony in Heaven and on Earth until Jesus destroys Satan and tosses him and his demons into The Lake Of Fire for eternity and then rebuilds the New Heaven and The New Earth.

Because Lucifer wants chaos. He doesnt want us to see God as perfect. Some people call themselves Christian but that they are not. They are false teachers telling Christians to compromise on this and that. That is why the division. So many looking to others for answers. You dont have to go far its called a Bible. All the answers are in there. That is how God speaks to us. If only more would listen. There is nothing wrong with denominations as long as they teach the Bible and only the Bible. Peace out...............

It's a great question. Of course the staple answer is: God gave mankind free will.
Enter the falsidical paradox: if God gave man free will he cannot be omniscient. If God is not omniscient he cannot exist as the perfect god claimed by Christianity.
So the only logical answer is: the Biblical account of "God" is decidedly false.

Who said that when something is perfect, it must be so in everyones opinion?
When has anything been agreed upon as perfect by all people......never.
It's not a perfect God you need to look at, it is imperfect people who do the fighting and disagreeing.
We are all imperfect and always will be, until we are perfected by our creator.

No, I don't get you. God is perfect in the way that any person with a good heart and a sound mind would see. We don't know everything because then the purpose of us being alve will be defeated. He has His reasons for not revealing information to us, and I repect them, whatever they may be.

GOD says rest and know that I am GOD.
and mortals say, believe this way or I will kill you.
GOD says rest and know that I am GOD.
and another mortal says give me proof or I will throw a temper tantrum.
GOD says rest and know that I am GOD.
and still another says "if GOD is so perfect, then why isn't our idea of him perfectly clear to humanity.
what is so wrong with not bickering at each other and just being kind.

GOD is perfect but man and mans view of God are very messed up.where do your get that something has to be perfect by everyones opinion. If I said that your lfe is messed up,That would be my opinion but would that be true.We can't base Truth on opinions,we base truth on truth. The truth of your question is God gave us free will.To choose him or not.To me free will is unfourceable love. All these opinions are just opinions. What matters is that you have a one on one relationship with him and let him tell you what opinions are true and which ones are not!
