If that was true, then he'd have an approval rating that was as least 50%.

Back in 2000, 2001, all of my (Christian) family liked Bush. They saw him as Christian, pro-life, etc. Most of my family are hard-core Baptists and republicans.
Fast forward to 2007: They are VERY upset with Bush, and they no longer like him. I've never seen such a turn around. They're still completely republican and as devout Christian as ever, but they DO NOT LIKE Bush--- anymore.
Personally, as a Christian I didn't feel comfortable from the very beginning with Bush's campaign. I had read a news article in 2000 or very early 2001 that mentioned how Bush wanted to bomb Iran. That night in 2001 when Bush was elected, I stood up and said, "That's it: we're going to war". I knew it. I just knew it would happen. I also thought he would be so hated that he wouldn't finish his presidency. Too bad he hasn't been impeached yet. He's had plenty of time to practice his Nixon peace sign .
And of course dear, everyone is being listened to right now. The problem is, despite one of the greatest mass disapprovals voiced by Americans in the History of America--- Bush just keeps doing what he will no matter what anyone says or how many say it. Even his own staff quits. Latest news says his approval rating is somewhere between 29 and 32 percent. I know there are Christians who no longer like Bush as president... and it seems quite a few Christians seriously began to turn away from him when he supported giving away Israel http://news.xinhuanet.com/english/2005-08/17/content_3364048.htm and when Condeleezza Rice went to Israel and said giving away Gaza "isn't enough, it can't be Gaza only" http://www.expressindia.com/fullstory.php?newsid=52925
Maybe it was then that Christians realized that maybe Bush wasn't the Christian they had thought. Christians began to ask questions. That included questions about the war. It went way downhill from there.
However, I don't know about right now, but in the past Christians have supported the war. As a pro-life Christian I'm very repulsed by that. Not because it's war in general, but because in general this Iraq war is stupid and it was a separate issue than 9/11. And it's causing even more problems. Sometimes some Christian churches mix American patriotism with Christianity... and if the two are ever separated, those churches will act as though it's unchristian to question America's ways. Including war. That is wrong. And with that, you have a point. I liked your question very much.

Who made the law that terrorism can't be stopped, huh? Sure is new to me!
As for liking the President, get your facts straight there as well, dear one. You're spouting off without having even a slight clue.
While I confess to having voted for this President, I agree with very little of what he has done thus far.
Basically, he has betrayed his constituency and seems to be working overtime to destroy America with the North American Union.
I support the OFFICE of the President, but not the man!
I am a Christian and no, this man does not "pander" to Christians. He's more liberal than he is anything else!

Propaganda. It shocks me. I'm a christian democrat, and I hate abortions as much as the next man, but I know some christians that will actually accept almost anything and any scandal because they really believe Bush will over turn Row vs Wade (which he won't). And they'll vote for the next guy thinking maybe the next guy will. ...that's also why I think republicans are in a big lose if they don't find a guy that's going to make that stupid promise for the next elections.
-Oh, and it mostly white, evangelical christians who you mean by this, there are tons of christians that mostly vote democrat, like black christians, and often catholics.

I am not an American and so a non-partisan. But, I have common Sense to tell me that for a Saddam Hussein to extend his influence and territories if left unchecked is as good as "committing suicide" by letting the bully rules and rampages at will to any part the world as they wishes.
I know the Liberals are wimpy and would like to appease all the "Bully of the world" starting from their own home.
I think the Liberals in America are the worst enemy of their own country. They are the fifth column of the Terrorists at large.
The free world and especially those with common sense and guts to stand up to the bully will have none of that ! So I am with President G. Bush all the way!
Liberals are really insane people with a lots of head knowledge but really stupid and crazy inside.
What kind of madness - the Educational System of America has produced. Amazing and unbelievable!
What say you all monkey's descendant out there ?

Congress voted to go to war and most people at the time felt it was a good idea to get rid of a bully like Sadam. Should we have just let that minny Hitler get worse and worse? The question now is how much time do we give Iraq to get their act together and get their government up and running.

Watch out, you could end up spending the rest of your life on an island near the USA where the Geneva convention doesn't apply. But I'm safe (I think) so I can call Bush an idiot anytime and also say he and his mob invented "terrorism" and there's no such thing and they brought down the twin towers to justify the brainwashing of soldiers to go illegally invade sovereign states on the other side of the world.

I'm an atheist, but I don't think it is accurate to say that "all Christians" support President Bush. Those that do are most likely "right-wing conservative Christians" who take literally those verses in Romans that tell them to obey and submit to governmental authority figures and believe most everything their "good Christian" President tells them.

WHOA! That is not true! I haven't met 1 Christian yet, who likes Bush. There is absolutely NO point for having our troops in Iraq. Nothing's going to change unless you change their beliefs, because that's what's causing all this terrorism. Being there is doing no good.

Ohh... I see, you can't stop terrorism so let's do nothing at all and just hope they become nice guys and go away.
Pretty naive.
We have to fight against people who really do hate us and really want to take us over, and you and I both wouldn't like that.
Good thing the President understands that when so many don't.
