I mean is cardio really that important if you're going to be raptured in a year or two anyway?

Why not load up on the bacon-double cheeseburgers?

@ loathing: Ever been to th gym? Vanity is a sin committed every day there. If there both equal sins and the rapture is nigh, pass the cheeseburger.

Well we've been in the end times every year now since I was about 9 and it has yet to happen. 25 years of nothing.

Nobody knows when the end times are nigh. Besides, exercise is more satisfying than Double Western Bacon Cheeseburgers (though not more than hamburgers animal style).

Christians have historically believed they are living in the end times--ever since the earliest days of the church. It's a typical way of seeing where they are in the scope of eternity. Some have gotten a little crazy with it: going to a mountain top to wait, for example. Others are rather apathetic about it, as if it won't happen in their life time. Those who are prepared either to be raptured or to be used by their God a little while longer seem to be living their lives according to their scriptures.

You think only Christians say this? Open your eyes and read a book. Some 40 different groups from all over the world are all saying it, prophesied it, have it in books, etc.

And its all playing out perfectly. Just read Revelation 10 and realize that is 9/11. The angel it speaks of is the statute of liberty.

One could do both. A bacon-double cheeseburger is an excellent post-workout snack.

Many Christians believe that we will be restored to that which we have allowed ourselves to become. So, if you have allowed yourself to eat bacon double cheeseburgers, then you will still have those extra pounds in the hereafter.

People have been saying it's End Times since the Beginning Times. The fact is, we don't know when the world will end, and we won't until it does end. So really there is no use in being Chicken Little.

No one knows when the end will come. It could be today, next week, next month, but we do know one thing , there were certain things that needed to take place first before this could be for filled . Everything that has been prophesied have come to past. So the stage is set , actors are in place, now we are just waiting for the curtains to go up. We just all have to be prepared

A. Burst into flames
B. Descend to Heaven
OR
C. Get called to the battlefront.

I'll load up on bacon-double cheeseburgers when I'm past the pearly gates. Then me and the "Big Guy" can swap war stories! ;o)
