i knew a guy that actually lost a bunch of weight after getting married. i think he rushed into marriage just to have sex....and now all that sex is giving him a good workout.
i think a lot of couples do happen to get fat after they get married. i think they get bored with eachother and run out of stuff to talk about, so they just go out and stuff their faces instead. when your mouth is full of food, you don't really have to talk.

Some of it has to do with a wife getting pregnant, and the guy maybe getting a sedentary job. Or that the wife cooks regularly. There is more too it than them simply not caring.

thats part of it... but another is now that you have people to take care of you need to be on a budget, and believe me its much cheaper to buy a burger than a healthy meal...
also when your running errands its also easier to stop by somewhere and pick something up....
