Have you ever wondered if humans can count the time period NOW? We can count yesterday, and tomorrow, but fail at grasping NOW. Is it a second? A fraction of a second? Could NOW possibly be the fourth dimention? And why is it that humans cannot live in the NOW? Why did humans start counting time in the first place?

Fundie christians and creationists on here and elsewhere continually attempt to misrepresent mainstream science in order to tear it down with infantile analogies and flawed logic.

The false and unrecognised PhD's, doctorates and degrees are used as a ficticious example to show science as false, using "psuedo science" to do so.
They also quote, or misquote outdated science, or when a scientific field was in its infancy, as examples of where science is flawed, yet conveniently overlook "modern mainstream" scientific principles, descriptions and explanations of the natural world, most notably the fact that living in the modern western world is one of the fruits of scientific discovery and knowledge.

There are many clear examples of wilfull misinformation and outright lies in order to make room for their ignorant and bigoted religious beliefs, so, would these people have a subliminal acceptance of the mainstream sciences..?
Why else would they feel the need for such dishonesty?

The King James Bible has this in Genesis:
1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

Various acts of Creation go on till the Fourth Day.

1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

This was on the Fourth ’Day’.

It is on this ‘day’ that day and night, days, seasons, and years as we know them today get defined.

Is there a confusion about God resting on the Seventh Day as we understand day now?
Did the Seven Days of Genesis span the same time period as we understand now or is there a possibility that Genesis was to a different time scale and that it is the (semantic) use of the same word ‘day’ in two different contexts leading to the present understanding of the Sabbath.

I don't want to offend anyone, but it really doesn't make sense to me. There are SO many refrences in the bible that make it seem as if they are seperate. Why would one be called the Father, and one be the Son if they were the same? Can your Father be the same person as you?
"Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened, And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased." Luke3:21-22 So- somehow Jesus is on earth, physically being baptized with hundreds of witnesses, at the same time flying above Himself in the form of a dove, and throwing His voice from the heavens as His Father telling everyone that He is well pleased with Himself? I don't get it, please expalin- serious answers please. Thank you:)

The fact that none of my limbs have fallen off is due simply to my faith in the power of my Saviour Jesus Christ to prevent them from falling off.

perhaps he/she/it is all knowing, but in the end, god has perceptions based on observation just like us.

perhaps god's opinions are well informed, but what makes them absolute truth?

The bible says that everyone sins, but also says that some DON'Tsin?? Take a look! And don't say I've taken them out of context, for its context doesn't justify the contradictions! If it does, I dare you to point them out!

Romans 5:14
Death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned.

1 John 3:6
Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not.

1 John 3:9
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

1 John 5:18
We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not.

3 John 11
He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.

Are we suppose to judge our christian brother and sisters spiritual lifes?

First off, God HAS healed amputees in the past. We know of one such incident that occured in the New Testament. A man had his ear sliced off and Jesus was able to reattach it.

Secondly, it doesn't matter how many people pray for a limb to grow back. God does not do the people's bidding. He is the one in charge.

Third, losing a leg or an arm is not that bad in the grand scheme of things. Such an experience can strengthen a person's faith and make them stronger and a better person. It is the hardships in life that define us.

Agree?

Just recently, I realized that people have become much more anti-Semitic over the past decade. For example, Kyle is made fun of on the TV show South Park for being a Jew in nearly every episode, in the movie Borat there is the "running of the Jews" while Jews are said to be devils, and Jews are the butt of jokes on some late night comedy routines.

I had no idea that people hate the Jews so much in the US of all places, I was always taught that they are God's chosen people and are well respected. I was raised Christian but have an obvious Jewish last name, by the way. What are your thoughts on how the Jews are treated? Do you think this trend will worsen with prejudice against the Jews or will it improve?

This is what their bible says:

These verses cleary says that everyone is sinful:

1 Kings 8:46
There is no man that sinneth not.

2 Chronicles 6:36
There is no man which sinneth not.

Proverbs 20:9
Who can say, I have made my heart clean, I am pure from my sin.

Ecclesiastes 7:20
For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.
Romans 3:23

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.
1 John 1:8
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

1 John 1:10
If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

But wait!
