Hi æé¾. Yes, are correct, we are all miserable, rotting sinners. That includes me and it includes you. But you are misinterpreting these verses. Once a person becomes saved, that person is washed of their sins. We become sinless in the Eyes of God. If you read what God says in 1 John 3:1 we can begin to see His Salvation Plan:
"Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not."
God is speaking about those He has chosen to save in 1 John 3:1. In 1 John 3:5 God tells us that Jesus has taken our sins upon Himself:
"And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin."
God does not contradict Himself in the Bible. The important thing is we must compare the entire Bible to any conclusion we come to, before we can see the spiritual truth God is giving us.

All the above verses are true.
Every man does mistakes and sin against God because from adam and eve, all men have sinned. I too sinned and worse i could not come over it even when I tried to.
Then God dealt with me. I was punished. I couldn't understand God punishing because I thought He was a loving God, so I could not continue to displease God. After long period of God leading me, I know that if I stay close to Jesus(Abide) then I can stay out of sin. He can made a person righteous. One thing we have to do is, to read bible to know what He wants from us and do it so that He will protect us from sin.
Even Jesus during the time in desert during fast, was tempted by devil. But He overcame. Any person will be tempted, but God will teach us to overcome.

There are no persons who have not sinned.
All have come short of the Glory of God except as we read, Jesus was sinless and was able to take the Spirit of the Son of God into his body.
So is there a problem about sin that you think Christians think they are perfect without sin?
This is the Goal, to work on our Body, Mind, and Spirit, so we can one day eliminate sin from our lives. If anyone says they don't sin, I will show you a liar. Thought, word and deed! We are responsible and answerable when they open our book of life.

Yes, everyone has sinned, we were born into sin (do you have to teach children to be good or to be bad?)...but when we accept Jesus Christ (the Creator's Son) as our personal Savior...He forgets our sins...we are completely cleansed. That does not mean that we will never make mistakes, but if you walk in the Light - you cannot follow the Dark One - if you make a mistake, you must go to the Creator immediately and admit (confess) your mistake, ask Him for forgiveness and ask His Spirit to help you in your walk not to make the same mistake again...and if you have committed a mistake that involves another human -you must also go to that person (or people) and ask their forgiveness and make restitution if need be. So, no - a Christian does not sin for sin is willful disobedience...and if a person is doing this (esp. consistently ) - it is sin - and they need to speak to the Father and one or more trusted Christians...for perhaps they only think they are saved.

Better you guys stop "super-dominating" over the powerless and stop being "super-predator" over the defenseless animals, beings and nature. Apparently the earth going towards fragmentation, sectarianism and secular.
The stomach is becoming "graveyard" of many corpses (carcases), many souls awaiting the day of turbulence of his own deeds.
Why must human use the god as an excuse to fulfil his own desire, greed and gluttony.
Do anyone understand what the MERCY means. Wake up!!

Everyone in the world is born with a sinful nature, and yes, we have all sinned. But when we become a Christian, our past sins are washed away, and with God's help we have the ability to stop sinning. Most of us do not do this very well - we stumble and fall and don't let God help us get victory over sin. But it CAN be done.

Yes...but not on purpose and not as a life style only mess up or slip.
Hebrews 10:26: says;
26If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left

All of us are sinners, for it is in our genes, we cannot help it, for we are weak, we fall into temptation and sin, but with the lord, he will guide us through it, I am a Christian, and I am not going to lie, nor have I lied to God or anyone else, I sin from time to time, but I know the lord Christ will forgive me.

Hey you missed one...
1Pe 4:1 Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;
1Pe 4:2 That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.
We are born into sin, but when we become born again, we take on a new spirit, and the sin is removed. We then cease to sin.
Gen 4:7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin coucheth at the door: and unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

A simply good question,
Yes Christians sin. We are vindicated eternally by the blood of Christ, however the bible warns us that we are still not immune to the Present CONSEQUENCES of sin as such we should try our level best to avoid sin. Also, to some degree it brings shame to Christ and weakens our testimony.
