Yes Hindus are more tolerable .That's what made Hinduism an ever lasting one .

I think that Vedic knowledge is the highest of knowledge and if anyone follows that knowledge and wisdom properly, of course they seems to be more tolerant but in fact they are neither tolerant nor aggressive. It is just they know what they know. If I am not wrong, Hindus have got Vedas, Puranas, Upanishads, Bhagavatam, Bhagavat Gita and so many other scriptures which is the ocean of knowledge and wisdom without limit. On the other hand Hindus are not cowards they know how to fight for the truth too.

Well judging from news reports over my 50 plus years I can say the Hindus get along with almost everyone except Muslims. When there are big clashes or confrontations between the two I think I can safely say Hindus do not turn the other cheek!

if you mean "are hindus more tolerant than most other religions", I would answer that it depends on the hindu himself.
I've known most to ironically think everyone is right..... except the person who believes they are right. I've heard of muslim-hindu conflicts, but of course, religion comes down to the individual.

I assume you mean "tolerant". If so, the answer is "not necessarily". People are just people. Some people are tolerant, and others are not. I believe that all religions (including Islam, by the way), preach tolerance of others--but hateful people do not listen to that part of the Word of God.

Actually Indians are more submissive I think. I dont know whether I say this because I am from India.
I have hindu, muslim and christian friends and many are tolerable and very nice.
Though I was born in s christian family, I dint know whether God truly existed but lately God led me wonderfully, cleaned my sins and gave me His joy and peace.
