Show your love and respect to God. Do not lost your faith to him. Erase your doubt to him. Obey his laws.Do not forget to thank him for everything what is done to you and do not blame God of things that will happen to you/. Always pray to God whenever you need help from him. Read the bible, it will guide you to do good things.

Open your heart and soul to Him
Pray the Psalms
Perform Verbal prayer- out loud, like you're talking w/ an old friend.
Always approach God Almighty with a humble and contrite heart. Let Him know that you wish to speak with him. Get his attention.
If you suddenly feel like crying... cry.
Most importantly, develop a routine of prayer. Remember that everything you do, think, or say, the Lord is standing next to you. Rely on Him. Ask for His help and then thank Him afterwards.
Read his Word...slowly, every single word. Ponder it, meditate on the verses that strike you.
But most of all, Love Him, make Jesus' yours. Love Him with all your heart, body and strength. He loves you just as much.

God wrote a book.
We know God is spirit. We also know that we worship in spirit and in truth.
How can you be more devoted to God than that?
Answers: Devotion does not get to God. Try Jesus since he is the way, the truth, and the life. No one gets towards the father (God) except through him.

Prayer. Devote yourself to daily prayer.
Why? Prayer is communion with God. It's how we grow in love and faith of Him. The more devout and sincere your prayerlife, the more devotion you will have for Him.
Also, by prayer I don't mean asking for things all the time. I mean prayer of adoration and praise. Prayer of worship and humility. You can ask Him for things later, but make this prayer that of glory and honor to Him.

Greatest Commandment

To pray earnestly, like talking to God like friend and asking Him what are the things in your life that He wants you to change, praying for others problems, to keep us away from evil because He wants us to break our relationship with God.

Try to draw near to God with all your heart, mind, power and He will draw near to you. Read His Word, pray and ask Him for all you want. Everything is going on by the will of God and without Him we can do nothing.

Love His Mother because He did and He gave Her to us to be our spiritual mother. We are told to do as Jesus did. And if anyone can lead you to a closer union with Him, it's her.
