Fundie christians and creationists on here and elsewhere continually attempt to misrepresent mainstream science in order to tear it down with infantile analogies and flawed logic.

The false and unrecognised PhD's, doctorates and degrees are used as a ficticious example to show science as false, using "psuedo science" to do so.
They also quote, or misquote outdated science, or when a scientific field was in its infancy, as examples of where science is flawed, yet conveniently overlook "modern mainstream" scientific principles, descriptions and explanations of the natural world, most notably the fact that living in the modern western world is one of the fruits of scientific discovery and knowledge.

There are many clear examples of wilfull misinformation and outright lies in order to make room for their ignorant and bigoted religious beliefs, so, would these people have a subliminal acceptance of the mainstream sciences..?
Why else would they feel the need for such dishonesty?

'most notably the fact that living in the modern western world is one of the fruits of scientific discovery and knowledge.'

that's why they can't just ignore it - science works. they are forced to pretend that there are two different sorts of science, the sort that produces technology which is good, and the sort which conflicts with their beliefs which is bad. from the point of view of science this distinction is arbitrary and harmful to the process of science, but they can't allow themselves to see that.

you're accused of being angry and bitter... perhaps some people are reading their own biases into your words. i think you've done nothing but state the plain truth.

I guess I could say exactly the same thing regarding mainstream science but I wont. At the end of the day, literally, we'll all find out! But what a ride it is to be a Fundie. God bless you !

i myself do no longer understand why you're after Manish Tewari. he's the occasion spokesman and he's doing the proper he can, protecting his occasion. because of the fact he's a spokesman for the INC, his job is notably much an impossible, as he has to guard the indefensible. regarding Witness risk-free practices, we do have some thing comparable in India too. it is termed criminal risk-free practices. maximum criminals at severe place are secure and no court docket in this u . s . may even touch them.

The Christian church tortured Galileo into recanting his theory that the earth was round & orbiting the sun--not immovable & standing on pillars as the Bible stated It's ironic that although they continually rubbish scientific discoveries--they see nothing wrong in using the fruits of science---like the computer & mobile phone

Their dishonesty has a design and a specific purpose... Check out the Kansas Public Schools science programs to learn the details but here it is in a nut shell.

Creation science and Intelligent design are both scams. They are willful attempts to appear in all respects like legitimate science for the sole purpose of re-introducing religions teaching in science classrooms. It is entirely a ruse and a guise of device rather than a sincere attempt to use scientific method in ernest.

On the subject of the Kansas Schools and from that contraversy, Rev Coyne spoke out against this dishonesty: http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/bb62/Randall_Fleck/Not_Science_GIF.gif

Funny how the bible written so long ago has a book written specifically about people like you it is 2 Timothy. Dare you to read it. Get a New Living translation, written in plain modern English so you totally get what it says.

Lots of fancy talk, but no examples. Sounds like you're just blowing smoke.

More importantly, if the people you are so worried about are just making stuff up, why does it bother you so much? There are people walking the streets mumbling all kinds of nonsense to themselves, but I don't follow them around, recording their babbling, then come here and go ballistic over whatever crazy thing they said.

If these people are as messed up as you think they are, aren't they deserving of your pity, sympathy, empathy, or help rather than your bitter attacks? Or are you just afraid of picking on people your own size and have to push around the blind, the lame, and the weak?

Seriously. If you're attacking something, lying about it only gives the thing you're fighting more credit simply because its followers use truth. If you have to lie, you have a weak arguement.
