So, you're using 'critical thinking' when you make these claims? Have you used this same 'critical thinking' when investigating the women's movement?
If you think you have "freedom" now, you need to look into what instigated the 'feminist' movement. What was the driving force, the reason it began? Have you done that? I have. What does the Rockefeller family have to do with the 'movement'? Don't know, I'd find out. Why was the CIA funding Ms magazine? Don't know, better look into it. (Yes, Gloria Steinan admits this.) You've been used and you've been conned, what you have is an illusion. It's meaningless.
What women of faith had was far more powerful than anything conjured up by the media, powerful men, or government agency. Women of faith stood before Kings and corrected error on their part. Humbly yes, but with great courage and inner strength born along with faith and Gods holy spirit. Women of faith are used time and again as examples for us within Scripture. Not as simpering, stupid mules, subservient to men, but as strong, independent thinking women. Even Rahab, a prostitute is mentioned time and again as an example of faith and courage in the face of great danger. So much so that she is in the lineage of Jesus. Christ reveled himself FIRST to a woman, a Samaritan woman, whom Jews of that time avoided as they were thought to be inferior.
My critical thinking and investigation has led me to the truth of these matters, and I can tell you I'm not oppressed as a Christian woman. What is oppressive is this system of things.
You have a nice day.

It sounds as if you already have the answer you are looking for. But since you are reading this, here is some new information to consider about Judaism and its offspring Christianity.
In societies where men were not restricted to marriage for love and sex, women were relegated to society's periphery. The woman was seen as serving but two roles. As a wife, she ran the home. As a courtesan, she satisfied male sexual desires.
The women of Arab society, wherein male homosexuality has been widespread (where one man can collect a harem of wives as in Islam, many men have no wives), remain in a notably low state in the modern world. It was Judaism -- through its insistence on marriage and family and its rejection of infidelity and homosexuality -- that initiated the process of elevating the status of women. While other cultures were writing homoerotic poetry, the Jews wrote the Song of Songs, one of the most beautiful poems depicting male-female sensual love ever written.
And Christianity has followed suit, raising the status of women to full equality in the Western world.

I looked up the word ‘oppressed’ to be sure I understood it before answering your question.
I don’t think you understand the word oppressed.
The only oppression was that of the slaves and that included man, woman and child and animals too.
Every free person had rights within their community.
You sound like one of those people that “heard” something from someone else that “heard” something and on and on and kept passing that MISinformation on to others as if it were something that either of you know what you are talking about or have experienced first hand.
It is evident to me that you are ignorant to and don’t know what you’re talking about
What Bible do you or have you read?
Or any other scripture for that matter?
You don’t need logic to know what the word is. You don’t have to analyze the word. It is crystal clear.
I seriously doubt if you have read any of the Qur’an or you would have read in detail many of the rights that women have that rival the rights of men.
You would also have read that the scripture is filled with allegorical and scripture that has clear meaning; and that the ones who have perversity in their heart, go after the allegorical, i.e. the scripture that they can interpret to mean whatever the perverseness in their heart want it to mean.
Those whose hearts and minds are pure seek the scripture with clear meaning.
Matthew c 5 v 8: Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
Is it any wonder why so many don’t believe or want to believe?
They are NOT pure in heart.
I don’t know of anyone that is 100% righteous or pure of heart but there are many that try.
They are called ‘Believers”.
get it?

I'm a woman! I see no oppression in Christianity and i do not know enough of the others to really say. Our place is different, not less important. At first it may seem one-sided with versuses like "wifes submit to your husbands", but there is no shame in being under authority, actually life is more fun that way I think.

I wouldn't know about Christianity and Islam, but in Judaism, the women have a very high place. Jewish societies are actually matriarchal societies. It is the woman the one that ensures to proper jewish education of her children, therefore her role is very important, so important that she's even exempt for having to perform certain commandments that could interfere with her tasks.
Also, according to the Torah, women are spiritually at a higher level than men. They are naturally more attuned to God's will than men are and that's why God said to Abraham "Listen to your wife" when he didn't want to banish Haggar and Ishmael, as Sarah had asked him to do.
Judaism does say that men are women are different, there' sno doubt about that. They were created differentl yfo rvery important reasons. However, "different" doesn't mean "inferior". Women in judaism are definitely not inferior.

We all know the oppression of women in Islamic culture. The eastern cultures have always had a tendency to treat women as property. But Christianity actually changed life for women. The first person Jesus appeared to was a woman, after His resurrection. Mary Magdalene gave the testimony that Jesus was alive- and the testimony of women was usually not acceptable in court. God set new rules for the treatment of women in Christianity- "Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church". In other words, they should be willing to die for her. A lot of people who argue religion are men, and they are often not that interested in the rights of women. But churches have addressed it- and that's why a lot of women are in ministry today.

if you read the Bible, you'll also find the opposite. such as "husbands love and respect your wives" or "love your wives as Christ loved the church (sacrificial love)" or Galations 3:28, speaking about the equality of man and woman in Christ. then there's Esther, Deborah (who had more power than her husband judicially and in legal circles), Miriam, the prophetesses, great women of faith, etc. how come you don't hear this enough being thrown out?
I think sexists have a problem and both ends don't read the cripture in it's entirety, but skim it and isolate Scriptures to prove a point that can be easily disproven. trust me, the muslims and Jews will also answer similarly.

The doctrines of Islam, Judaism and Christianity were written a long time ago. Long before plumbing, electricity and many things we take for granted. The technological and intellectual advancement of the modern world has allowed women more equality. You will notice that in societies whereas the average person is below average technologically and intellectually these cultures still tend to be oppressive toward women.

People address it constantly. There are many denominations of Christianity which promote women even to heads of the church while others believe women should just be quiet and listen.
I don't know about Judaism but Islam has recently had women's lib issues so they're slowly on the way of promoting women too, it just might be another century before they catch up.

In christainity, I saw Jesus giving so much freedom to women and also all.
TO ALL
Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.Joh 8:32
TO A WOMAN caught in Adultery
"Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. 5 In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?" 6 They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him. But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. 7 When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, "If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her." 8 Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground. 9 At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. 10 Jesus straightened up and asked her, "Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?" 11 "No one, sir," she said. "Then neither do I condemn you," Jesus declared. "Go now and leave your life of sin."
Always Jesus forgave people sin and taught them to live a sinless life.
I was also into sin and I could not overcome. Please read here how God changed my life,
