Hello, i wanted to ask a question about todays society. One day i was with my gf at the beach, when i left for like 10mins 2*arab* guys walked to her and started flirting to her. When she said that she is not interested, they called her sl*t etc..when i arrived, ofcourse those guys left at that moment. But the problem is why are there such racism against whites now in UK ? I`m sure if i would offend those people like that some other day, then it would be called racism and it would be one of those "hate crimes/speach". I really dont understand what are their problem with people here..People in UK are very friendly and open. I have heard about problems like this in schools these days(whites must be silent, but others can do what they want), but i really didnt experience it on my skin until this week. Ofcourse people like this are minority and others respect our people. But the question is, why are there such double standarts for people here?.

Before, I'm full of faith because I was raised in a Christian family in a Christian school with Christian friends. Now, I study in a public school with friends who does not even have faith in God. I am slowly influenced by their crazy attitudes and I have been running out of faith. Any tips?

The bible says that we all have sinned in Adam. My understanding is that we inherit the seperation from God through our relationship to Adam by birth. I see that our will being commited to selfish ends manifests the acts of sin and we are therefore guilty. In the Word we are told that all have sinned and that all are withoput excuse. However if our acts of sin stem from doing merely that which is our nature by birth how then are we culpable for doing that which we have a propensity to do without our choice in being born with such a propensity? If the word says we are without excuse? Does it not appear the best of excuses being born with a sinful nature?
I have examined this doctrine which ultimately justifies universalism but think it was the influence of Aristotlean philosophy that created this wrong way of seeing the doctrine of moral depravity. Charles Finney's Systematic Theology was helpful to me but I am curious as to how other Christians resolve this dilemma....comments?

unboubtably I'm gonna get slagged for this one but all women are jealous of each other.
well you know what I mean, if the other girl is better looking , has a better figure and is more intelligent, why does the other girl hate her so much.
This does not happen with men as we are more sane.

It's so annoying to constantly have to leave messages on answering machines. I've been in people's homes when they are RIGHT THERE and the phone rings and they don't answer it. I don't own an answering machine hand have no desire to do so. Besides I can't install one to a rotary phone anyway.

Luke 17:34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
37 And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.

I was once a Christian believer. What change my mind above all other things is simple. What is the ratio of people who have "REALLY" done what the bible says it takes to get to "HEAVEN" vs. all of the people who have ever been alive on the earth? No if you number high in favor of heaven then there is nothing anyone can do for you on a reality basis. But if your number is more the other way where it should be. What kind of creator has such a low success rate? If he were human we would judge him as a failure. Wouldn't you?

This has got to be the strangest two verses in the Gospel:

Following Jesus' arrest in the garden, "a young man, wearing nothing but a linen garment, was following Jesus. When they seized him, he fled naked, leaving his garment behind."

Christians: what do you think is going on here? I've always wondered. Comments from others are welcome.

Egoistic, egotistic, self-centered, self-absorbed, selfish, call it what you will. How do they make you feel, and more importantly why? If they annoy you, why? Is there anything wrong with selfishness?

If you believe in external, absolute morality, you're in luck, because you can explain your feelings. You can always say selfishness is wrong, that is why it hurts people.

But if you adhere to the idea that only the fittest survive, selfishness of others should not bother you one bit. You should accept it as a positive value and wish them well. After all they only do what they have been conditioned to do. Moreover, you should strive in life to become stronger and ensure your survival through selfish acts.

Any thoughts on this?
