Why need we have continued researching after we had the electric valve? Did what we have work so well that there was no need to develop first the transistor and then microprocessor technology?

Indeed, if you think that a discovery has to be static if it's to mean anything, would we ever have got past the point where hitting one stone against another makes a spark?

who knows that most black people aren't waiting for a goverment hand-out? Am I the only white person that does not think that most black people blame "whitey" for their problems? Am I the only white person that really understands the history, cause & effect, and reality of Affirmative Action, and realizes that it really hasn't affected other white people in any significant way? Am I the only white person that looks at the individual and not the group? Am I the only white person who sees equal amounts of "bad apples" among whites as blacks? Am I the only black person who understands that yes, slavery was abolished, but oppression of blacks still continues on more systemic level rather than a personal, one-on-one level? Am I the only white person who can name 40 successful black people who are NOT celebrities?
Is any other white person going to speak up and stop assuming negative things about black people?

After all the mother carries the baby and is the primary care taker of the baby. Also more often the not baby's blood is same as the mothers blood.
So why male blood line and not female bloodline.

I just finished "The Handmaids Tale" by Margaret Atwood.

This is a book about a society taken over by religious nut jobs. Sex outside of marriage is a hanging offense unless a man of power is assigned a handmaid. Her only purpose is procreation.

Once a month they have intercourse with the handmaid laying back on the wife, and the wife holding her hands, the theory being the 3 become one. No touching other than necessary and very clinical. It is called "The Ceremony".

I can see Pat Robertson endorsing outlawing sex. Can't you?

I ask because I want to know based on how he is and how he reacts to me if he's interested in me or not. I can never tell who's gay or not. I am really bad at it. up at my barn there is a border that has breast cancer. she gets chemo every 3 weeks. very sweet women. it is very important she stays healthy. there is another border that gave her horse strangles...which is a live vaccenie. there was no reason for this person to give her horse this. it would be very bad if this person breathed in that. do u think it was rude for the women to do this?
