I really like a church around here, but I am not sure if Episcopalian means Catholic. If I were ever to get married in it, would we have to be Catholic?

When we go to heaven, how will we appear? Which body will we have? The one we want the most? If we die at age 90, do we appear in heaven in bodies that are basically healthy but appear 90? Do we get to have our 'ideal' body? That is, do we get to 'pick' which body we want to spend eternity in? Like if say I wanted my 24-year old body, can I choose that one? If so, when do we get to select it?
What if someone died at age 4? Do they appear in heaven in a 4-year old body? What if they die as an infant? Do they have to crawl around heaven or just lie there on their backs for eternity? I'm serious here. How is the eternal body chosen?
IF we're all given adult bodies at around say, age 30 or so, then does that mean God looked into the baby's future, saw what he or she would look like at age 30 and then upgraded the body to that point? What if the 4 year old wanted to stay at age 4 and didn't WANT to be upgraded to age 30?

Someone help me here.

Why you may ask? The United States is all about freedom. But, freedom in the United Sates is pretty much going down the tube its being more of a communist country anymore. So, because the Unites States started out as a country of freedom, we all have the freedom to do what we want, as in fornication, drinking, drugs and everything else you can think of. All of this stuff is worse in the United States than anywhere else. Think about it, why does everybody from other countries come over into the United States all the time? For freedom to do what they want because we have it all!!!!! This is just my opinion......but I know I'm right.

So many of you know I have started a new job recently. As always, I give my partners information and my daughters, as dependents for insurance purposes.

I was told by the HR Department that they would need a copy of the actual Civil Union Certificate before they would add my partner onto my benefits. While that technically was not a problem, I'm wondering do they ask every married person to bring in their marriage certificate before they render benefits.

The HR person was really nice about it and apologetic, but it still makes me think. I may be reading too much into it, but I find it highly unlikely that married employees are being treated the same.

So, I guess my question is, how do you look at this situation? Do you see it as a big deal?

I regret "laying out" in the hot midday sun of the midwest, lathered in baby oil on top of someone's roof.

What was I thinking?!

Remember Farfour, Mickey Mouse's terrorist Palestinian cousin?

Now we've got Nahoul, the Palestinian Killer Bee . . . .

Check out: www.memritv.org

and click on #1510 "Nahoul the Bee Replaces Farfour - Hamas Mickey Mouse - and Vows to Continue on His Path of Martyrdom and Jihad"

What do you think of this latest whacko job?

Remember, this is on the HAMAS T.V., the face of ISLAMIC Palestinians.

I'm just waiting to find out how they end up killing "Nahoul the Palestinian Killer Bee" . . . . last time it was an Israeli real estate agent that iced Farfour - this time I bet they'll make it a religious Jew.

Anyone want to guess . . . ? :-)

I've heard every excuse in the book given: Please give me a star, I'm depressed! Please give me a star, my boyfriend broke up with me! Please give me a star, my cow has rabies! The only person who went about it in a clever manner was Avatard, and yes, I gave him a star because his question about it was clever, if a little obvious, but no one else.

Isn't it obvious that they are just trying to rack up stars? For the record, I have no stars left to give to people who so blatantly beg for them. I'll give stars for good questions, that's it.

If anyone begs for one, my answer is I have no stars left. They all got raptured!

Why does it seem that it's those who are fortunate enough to get the greatest breaks in life who really screw it up whereas those of us who live sober, moral lifestyles don't seem to get the same opportunities. I'm talking actors, actresses, sports players, tv personalities, etc. I don't believe it's always the "position" itself that changes the person but I don't understand why they don't see how good they have it and that alone should motivate them not to "screw it up." There's enough of us waiting in line for a break who wouldn't compromise our character.

Top Ten Signs You're a Fundamentalist Christian

10 - You vigorously deny the existence of thousands of gods claimed by other religions, but feel outraged when someone denies the existence of yours.

9 - You feel insulted and "dehumanized" when scientists say that people evolved from other life forms, but you have no problem with the Biblical claim that we were created from dirt.

8 - You laugh at polytheists, but you have no problem believing in a Triune God.

7 - Your face turns purple when you hear of the "atrocities" attributed to Allah, but you don't even flinch when hearing about how God/Jehovah slaughtered all the babies of Egypt in "Exodus" and ordered the elimination of entire ethnic groups in "Joshua" including women, children, and trees!

6 - You laugh at Hindu beliefs that deify humans, and Greek claims about gods sleeping with women, but you have no problem believing that the Holy Spirit impregnated Mary, who then gave birth to a man-god who got killed, came back to life and then ascended into the sky.

5 - You are willing to spend your life looking for little loopholes in the scientifically established age of Earth (few billion years), but you find nothing wrong with believing dates recorded by Bronze Age tribesmen sitting in their tents and guessing that Earth is a few generations old.

4 - You believe that the entire population of this planet with the exception of those who share your beliefs -- though excluding those in all rival sects - will spend Eternity in an infinite Hell of Suffering. And yet consider your religion the most "tolerant" and "loving."

3 - While modern science, history, geology, biology, and physics have failed to convince you otherwise, some idiot rolling around on the floor speaking in "tongues" may be all the evidence you need to "prove" Christianity.

2 - You define 0.01% as a "high success rate" when it comes to answered prayers. You consider that to be evidence that prayer works. And you think that the remaining 99.99% FAILURE was simply the will of God.

1 - You actually know a lot less than many atheists and agnostics do about the Bible, Christianity, and church history - but still call yourself a Christian
